A River Runs Behind It
The Rogue River is right behind this hotel. Many of the rooms have a balcony or patio so you can sit and watch the river. Walk to dining in Shady Cove. Great location to slow down and enjoy your travel. Definitely plan to stay here next time I'm in the area.

Comfortable, Clean, Convenient Shady Cove Inn
The Edgewater Inn is a clean and comfortable place to stay when visiting Crater Lake National Park. Close to restaurants and grocery store. Has a nice view of the Rogue River out back. Drive to the National Park is about 75 minutes. I would recommend staying here when visiting Crater Lake.

Overall everything was great. Room was very clean, loved that we could see the river. Friendly staff. Several restaurants nearby. Quiet property. My main complaint would be that the air conditioner wasn't on while the room was unoccupied so it was very warm when we got there, took most of the night to cool down even after leaving the doors open for a while and the ceiling fan was on. I get turning the air down but when it's 80 degrees outside it shouldn't be off.

Decent comfort at reasonable price.
Some rooms open up directly to a river walkway on the back side. There are little tables outside the room and a bench on the other side of the walkway. The room was fine, but it had carpet and had a bit of a smell (not terrible, not mold, I just assume form the carpet or maybe a long time ago it was a smoking room?). It wasn’t a good deal for the price. Bed was fine. They don’t service the rooms automatically and basically give you the impression you could request it for individual days, although I didn’t request it.
