Absolutely beautiful cottage style guest house with stunning view.
Though on arrival, we were little surprised to see nobody was around to check us in and we had to call them.
Anyway the hosts were absolutely nice and their complimentary breakfast was really good.
Last but he least thing is the free WiFi was not working when we moved in; so had to spend time and enjoy the nature only without interruption from outside world :)
WE stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. Denise is great and breakfast was super. We had use of a guest frig, a very lovely, large, sitting area with TV, relaxing area or working area. Our room was good size with a comfortable bed and nice size shower with plenty of hot water. We would highly recommended staying.

Peace
We loved the peace and quiet. The view from the garden is amazing.
Travelling for work on my own, I was excited to stay here given the reviews. Although the setting is beautiful (more later), my arrival was anticlimactic because the owner wasn't there. My key was, but the welcome wasn't.
The room was huge. The amount of space was fantastic - I couldn't have asked for more. A long sofa and big wardrobe added to the practicality in there. The bed was on the firm side but comfortable. I slept well.
The en-suite bathroom was a bit less good. It smelled like damp towels and the shower tray had huge lumps out of it, where the surface beneath was black. Not great.
On the other hand the towels were nice and the shower itself was lovely. Powerful and hot. Small bottles of shampoo and body wash were provided; enough for two showers but a couple will need to ask for extras if you shower morning and night.
The lounge and breakfast room are large and welcoming. It's a real home. I get the feeling I didn't see it at its best because the owners were completely absent the entire time, sending a parent to take care of the basics instead, or leaving the place unmanned. I'd have liked to be able to ask about refreshments, even if I had to pay for them.
The location is very, very pretty. It's a pleasure to drive up to.
The breakfast was generous and tasty. The bacon was a particular highlight. An 8am start is a bit late, though, so be wary if you're on business. I'd stay again, but only for leisure and only if the hosts actually hosted.
Loved it! Our hostess Denise was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and each room had it's own ensuite bath. Great breakfast as well. Charming little town with great people. Stop by the Parkview House for a pint! Would stay there again and again.
Visiting my Mum's place of birth in Shillelagh, Co Wicklow. Booked online into Stoops guesthouse and found it to be perfect. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet, welcoming and with a five star breakfast to see us on our way the next morning. Highly recommended
lovely spot in shillelagh and very friendly staff . no aches and pains so must have been a very good bed room basic but that's what you're looking for . all in all great value
Loved this place! Tricky to get to by our GPS, but trust the GPS, it got us there. We booked late, and they were gracious and accommodating. First full Irish breakfast of the trip, excellent!
The owner was very friendly and interesting. Room was very comfortable with good shower. I had really nice irish breakfast with yummy scone. After breakfast the owner dropped me off to Wicklow Way which was very apreciated. Great place to rest whilsy doing the walk. If you contact them in advance they would be happy to pick you up from the walk too - I wish i had known that as its almost 5 K from Shillelagh.
Amazing hotel, excellent hosts, beautiful room And scrumptious Full Irish breakfast. We only wished we had stayed longer! Thanks for making us feel so welcome.
