I have stated at this hotel on several occasions but this is the last time. I tried to give them a second chance but I draw a line with the mold and mildew. Was moved to another with no hot water, toilet not working, and that bed also had mold, my fiancé who came into town had terrible headaches from the mold

The hotel looks nice in the inside. On the second floor the carpet definitely needs to be cleaned. It looks nice in there but that carpet is filthy. So is the carpet in the rooms.
The room was cleaned except that shower floor. It’s a white tile shower and the floor is brown which makes it very uncomfortable to shower. There’s chemicals that can be used to remove that.
Other then that we where ok for a weekend stay for our Family reunion.
When we arrive, the front lady was very nice. We went to our room. Our sheets were filthy. There was rest in the bathtub. I did call and ask her for an alternate room as I walked down the hall it reeks of a heavy marijuana. I walk into the second Room, and the floor is so wet I almost fall. The sheets are no cleaner. It has a odor that smells like mold and the tub was rusty. I do not recommend this place.
The gate to the enter were broke the outside need maintenance Care lawn care the inside of the old fashion nothing like the pictures. Bad curtain is hanging out down from the window.
Terrible!!! Bad area and was under construction. Should’ve mentioned renovation and we wouldn’t have booked that. The grounds were littered with trash and we were scared to get out. I would like. Full refund cause we did not spend The night there

I personally would not stay here again.
The stay was fine but I was disappointed the breakfast I thought it was supposed to be a full breakfast and it was just pastries which I cannot have so that didn't do me any good. The exterior of the property is in pretty bad shape. The photos on the website are older, I'm guess it was when the property opened photos. There is just a large cloth or paper sign attached to the exterior of the building with the del Mar name on it, as soon as I saw that I was scared to walk in. Also there were a lot of people walking up and down the street and behind the property in the neighborhood kind of made me feel a little unsafe. The room had a wet spot on the carpet and the room smelled kind of musty I have allergies and so this was not the best for me. If you're looking for a good deal and you're not too concerned with the exterior and location this is your place.

I didn’t like that when my daughter called to speak with them about my reservations how insensitive she was that I had a house fire. When showering the water leaked from the side of the bathroom all the way out the bathroom. Air didn’t work properly and I killed a roach. I will never step foot on this property again I had reservations from 7/3 tihrough 7/15 I left the next day 7/4. Requested a refund but paid for 2 nights I didn’t use I was just glad to get my money back.
Nobody was ever at the front desk when you needed something
My room stunk so bad I had to get glade wall plugs, no toilet paper, I asked for my room to be cleaned 2 times with fresh towels when I actually did see someone at the front desk NEVER HAPPENED .
Their breakfast was muffins or a bagel.
Horrible place to stay pictures DO NOT match the hotel.

40 / 50, at best, you will enjoy your stay here. The place has friendly, attentive staff, yet it is badly in need of work and cleanong. It smells. It wasn't clean and it is beat up. It pains me to say so, as the staff really tries. They just don't have much to work with. This looks like a place owner/investors are draining everything out of, while putting little to nothing back. That is always a death knell.
Just noticed that there was old pee collecting around the bottom of the toilet. And it was obvious that the room wasn’t vacuumed. There was specks all over the carpet and a old dried up French fry. The pool wasn’t in working condition. The whole reason why I booked this room was for the pool. No coffee in the room. And none in the lobby as stated in the description. The breakfast was not worth paying the extra money for either.
The bed was not made properly upon check in. Looked as though someone had lay down on one side of the bed. The bathroom was dirty and someone had urinated in the toilet and did not flush. Dirty towels in the room/bathroom
Upon arrival I noticed some alarming things, yet I proceeded to check-in. When we walked in to the room, the room was dirty, there was holes on the couch, the pull out bed was not able to pull out all the way, and the door wouldn’t look all the way. At this point we weren’t comfortable staying. I had my kids with me and they were afraid and not comfortable with staying either under those circumstances. I went back downstairs and explained the situation to the front desk clerk. She apologized and said she can check if there’s another room available but couldn’t guarantee there would be. I asked if we can get a refund instead of trying to look for availability, she said yes we can do that’s not a problem, but her manager (Jessica) is the one that can refund the transaction and she wouldn’t be in until Monday. I told her that’s not a problem and if she needs anything else. She said no she has all my information and she would give it to her manager.
