I booked a last minute extension here for my vacation. The staff started out great! But that changed after a couple issues. Wifi down twice. Very loud guests and noisy location compared to Cupecoy. I don't understand why dogs are allowed at this property, especially when they bark at all hours.Window in the shower next to exterior hallway is very strange when other guests are nearby.Sounds like you are sharing the shower! Suites are small. They have a comfortable bed,AC worked well and clean. Will not return.

The property was very inviting, small, intimate, right location. The staff we had an opportunity to meet, Shanae, LaToya, Alexia, Joycelyn, and Christina were all courteous and kind. They wanted to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.

Bakers is very centrally located with beach, restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Super easy to get to and Close to airport. The best part however is the friendliness of the staff. Latoya greeted us with a warm smile from ear to ear and made us laugh right off the hop. Cleaning staff were eager to please and equally as warm. Very accommodating. Bakers was recommended by a friend to us and we would stay there again. Bonus that there is a car rental company in same building.

Very friendly and helpful Operations Manager. Alexia was particularly friendly and helpful and explained all the options of shopping and dining in very convenient location within 5 minutes walking from the hotel.

Parking is hideous. And a bit noisy at times. Trucks honking horns, people talking as they return from bar late at night. (tourist stuff.) At the this location and price point this place is hard to beat!!!!! I like it hear!

I loved my week at Baker’s Suites. Latoya was so helpful—she booked several tours for me; she recommended local restaurants; and referred me to Anastacio, who provided taxi/ shuttle services for the guests. Anastacio drove me to my tour meeting spots and basically, wherever I needed to go. He was so cool!!! Latoya was wonderful—her personality was so infectious!!! There were several restaurants within 100 ft of the hotel, and a convenience store next door. Definitely loved my stay at Baker’s Suites—would stay again. 😎

Perfect small sized hotel in Simpson Bay... St Maarten Nice spacious rooms with good air conditioning. All amenities provided was very good. An added bonus was the very functional kitchen in the room like a studio apartment. Close by to a supermarket and also a grocery store. Bus stop maybe 5 minutes away to catch the minibus to Philipsburg or else lots of taxis around. Tons of restaurants nearby. Best part is walking across the street to Buccaneers Beach Bar & Restaurant and onto the beautiful beach. Practically lived there during the entire stay. Definitely will be back.

My 2 nights stay at Baker's Suite was amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff (Alexia and Latoya) were professional, helpful and friendly. The location is also ideal as restaurants and the beach is within walking distance. Will definitely stay again.

"My stay at Baker's Suite at Simpson Bay was truly exceptional! Every single staff member was incredibly kind, helpful, and showed genuine interest in all their guests. I immediately felt at home. It was my first time staying here, and now I can't imagine staying anywhere else—the impression they left was that strong! I have a foot problem, and when the receptionist noticed, she kindly moved me to a more convenient room with fewer stairs. Although they do have an elevator, it wasn't available due to electricity issues on the island. A special thanks to La-Toya and the entire team for making my stay so comfortable and welcoming!"

Baker Suites is a very good hotel and convenient location around Simpson Bay. The staff (Alexia) was very much helpful and very good at her job. Recommended if you would be staying in the area.
