Cabin shower had no shampoo in the container. The blinds don’t all work and are in disrepair which lessened the ability to open them to see the beautiful scenery. The refrigerator is rusty on the outside so hard to tell if the kitchen was clean. Beds were comfortable and the staff were great!! The continental breakfast would have been great if there were protein options that were hot. It was less substantial than a general hotel continental breakfast and being it was served in the resort, was not as expected. Did have a great time despite the items mentioned.

Great property for summer. Going in November we missed out on a lot of benefits it has to offer. Room was clean, bed comfy. Property could use a little updating of carpet in halls and elevator but it is a state park and has a lot to offer. Very close to what we needed. Staff super friendly and great suggestions in the area. We are already looking to return during summer months!

Great location for exploring the Natural Bridge area and Underground kayaking. The lodge was clean. Our heat wouldn’t work the first night and staff just offered an extra blanket. They said no other rooms were available yet the whole lodge and parking lot felt empty. We woke to 50° inside our room. The next evening we spoke to another couple experiencing the same issue. No compensation or repairs offered. Thankfully, we were gone most of the time.

Beautiful setting in the woods, the restaurant inside of the facility had very good food and service. There was a miscommunication of where to check in at, which caused us to drive around for 30 minutes trying to find the correct place. The rooms seemed dated and a little rundown, even though a couple pieces of furniture had been updated. The elevator had an atrocious smell to it. For the price we paid we were hoping for more. Overall, the experience was OK, but probably would not stay at this facility again.
