Hampton Inn is going down hill fast

Horrible room. Bathroom shower/tub had mold all around the sides. The bathroom shelf looked like it came out of an old garage. The bathroom door did not shut properly. The bed squeaked every time it moved. The wall mirror was taped up with blue duct tape. The bathroom faucet was loose. The bath towels were like sandpaper. This room should never have been rented. Needs help

Good location but walked in, immediately overheard a lady ripping into the manager about her room not being cleaned while they were out and about. I checked in and was told that the Expedia card wasn’t working and I had to call them and fix it or I’d be charged by them (the hotel) even though I’d already paid through Expedia. Spent all day evening on the phone trying to figure out what happened only to learn that the hotel was charging the wrong amount which is why it was declined. They still charged my card and upon looking at my transactions they actually charged me twice. When I checked out I asked for a receipt and they showed they refunded me. I informed the woman yes I saw one refund but there was a second charge that hadn’t been refunded still. The manager of course had already left for the day and so i had to write my number down for him to call me. It’s been all day and still no call back. Toaster was hardly working I saw multiple people struggle with it. Sausage Pattie’s were gray like they were frozen and thawed over and over again. Loud. Lots of kids running around. Many kids under 14 in the hot tub. Trash around the hot tub. Got jolted awake by a slamming door that sounded like a gun shot. Expected so much more and just had a terrible turn out.

We were staying in what was to be an accessible king room but had we really needed that it would have been a disaster. Shower soap and shampoo was way to high, sink way to high toilet paper is placed behind you not easy to get at. it was too crowded with furniture to get around. Dogs were barking and getting into fights in the hallway. It was doable for us though

Room apparently not refreshed. Room was missing a hair dryer and was out of Kleenex and regular coffee! Had to go to the front desk to obtain. We also noticed one of the front desk ladies was always on her phone or reading a book and outside a lot.

The hotel itself was fine, but we were charged two times for our room. We booked online and paid through Expedia. Then when we got to the hotel, they needed a credit card for "incidentals". They charged the whole room amount to the card. We tried calling them, but that was no help.

The only complaint I have was the breakfast options. I have celiac disease and most hotels now have plain cheerios (gluten free) as a cereal option. This hotel did not. Hardly anything I could eat there that was gluten free.
