Review: 4 Days, 3 Nights at Royalton Grenada I just returned from a 4-day, 3-night stay at Royalton Grenada, and while there were some definite pros, there were also a few disappointments that made the stay less than ideal. Pros: • The property is stunning and immaculately maintained. The grounds are pristine, with every inch of the resort looking well-kept and inviting. • Some of the staff members, especially the hardworking, pleasant, and friendly ones, really made a positive impact on the experience. • The room was comfortable, though there was a persistent moldy smell that didn’t go away during my stay, which was unpleasant. • The food was a major plus—there was a great selection for both local and tourist menus, and everything was freshly prepared each day. • The beach is beautiful, though the waters were a little rough at times. If you can make a trip to Grand Anse or BBC Beach, I highly recommend it. • Special shoutout to Kenneisha, a server who was exceptional! She was assertive, friendly, and professional, remembering our drink orders even though she only served us twice. She definitely deserves a promotion. Cons: • Unfortunately, the female managers and maître d’ were not very hospitable. Their attitude was often dismissive, and it really affected the experience negatively. • A frustrating mistake occurred when I was checked out of the hotel instead of another guest. Instead of notifying me directly, I found out when I was turned away from breakfast, wh

Do not stay here and do not use hotels.com!! The front desk staff is absolutely horrible. My reservation was messed upd because hotels.com only listed me on the reservation, so I had to pay additional for my husband. But then the front staff said I didn’t pay for the hotel at all. Corey at the front desk was no help. Jade however was thank goodness. But it took two hours to check in. The rest of the staff was friendly. The food was mediocre. The buffet was fine, but the French restaurant was terrible. The entertainment was lackluster.

The only problem is the room service at night… ordering the food at 11pm is too late since they usually take a while to bring the food to the room and the cut off time to get your order “in” is just one hour.., this needs to be improve. The property is beautiful, no denying that. I checked in and the staff at the front desk seemed unorganized and uninformed. I walked in to multiple people either complaining or trying to speak to manager so they can complain. I completed my checkin process only to be pulled off my cart and told that my payment didn’t go through. 45 minutes later, after calling my bank, my bank confirming that almost $3000 was taken from my account, the hotel insisting I charge my card ANOTHER $3000, also refusing to run a statement (which according to the bank would’ve shown my charge) to them magically finding the credit card receipt and acting like nothing happened. I demanded to speak to the manager that they refuse to let me see. Jennifer I think her name was. She also acted like what just occurred was no big deal and claimed she upgraded my room when in all actuality she gave me the exact room I was ever going to get. It was a terrible embarrassing experience that no one cared to make up for. I will never stay at any royalton again!

Experience at Royalton recap first when we arrived around 1pm they allowed us to check in early we were excited just to be disappointed because when we got to the room we realized that this wasn’t the room that we actually booked. They gave us a king bed when we booked a double bed luxury room. We called the front desk and they told us they didn’t have any more of those rooms available we were annoyed that they didn’t even have the courtesy to let us know. However, they did look into it and provided us an updated room with two double beds and an ocean view. While we waited for the room to be prepared, we went to the buffet to have lunch. The buffet food was trash and didn’t have much variety or choices of food. When we finally got to the new upgrade room we were surprised to see that the room wasn’t maintained as most Royalton resorts are. The paint was chipping, there were black scuff marks on the walls. There was a hole in the bathroom.That night checking the beds we noticed these little tiny bugs on my bed at least 10 of them. I had to kill them by now it was around 3 AM and I didn’t want to call the front desk to have us switch rooms again. First thing in the morning I called the front desk to let them know that I would like new sheets and pillows from housekeeping, but the person didn’t show up until six hours later. Even up until the time of departure I called and asked for a bellboy to come get our luggage because we were on the 3rd floor and it was raining NOONE came
