Our Marines deserves better treatment
The hotel was very nice, Room was very clean and housekeeping were very friendly. But, I must say the Front Desk personnels were not as friendly. I have worked in hotels years, years ago at Front Desk so I know how people appreciate friendly faces. And I have traveled and stay at many hotels now in my older years so I know what a friendly, welcoming staff is like.
I was also very disappoined when I asked for a "late checkout" at noon instead of at 11am and was told NO. My son is a Marine and I am sure the many Marines that stay ask often asked for an extra hour of sleep. They serve our country and the least the hotel can do is allow that extra hour of rest before they get back to their rigid training or duty. This really puts a bad taste in my mouth as I honor and appreciate our young men and women serving and protecting our country and was offended the rude front desk person telling me no to 12 oclock check out instead of 11am. Really? 1 hour extend going to kill you?! There were NO MANAGER on duty to talk to. RUDE and as nice as the hotel is, they just lost my business as I believe our young men and women serving our country deserves MUCH better treatment.
