I booked a room for after a 100 mile race this weekend and when we arrived at 3am after 31 hours of trail running and no sleep I was informed that I didn’t have a reservation even though I had a confirmation email and a charge on my card. NOTHING was done to make this right and we had to drive 2 hours back to Lynchburg in the middle of the night. Really frustrating and just plain bad business. Took no responsibility for giving away our room. Now dealing with trying to get a refund….

Nice Stay in Staunton, Va
The hotel is easy to access from I-81 with restaurants nearby. The breakfast offering was good with options including a breakfast sandwich, a vegetable omlet, a variety of breads, cereal and fruits. Coffee was available 24 hours.

The hotel is nice, fairly new and clean. Rooms are clean. Breakfast isn't great, but okay for grab and go. Two restaurants close for hot breakfast.

A great stay for a few days
A small efficient room with smart touches to maximize the space. Comfortable bed and pillows and convenient power plugs for both side of the beds. Everything was well thought out.

No longer pet free
We have been specifically staying here because of the no pet policy because my. Wife has major animal allergies. But we were informed at checkin that this hotel is no longer pet free. Unfortunately on our next trip to Staunton we will need to find a new hotel.
