The Silo Farm Haus is an original grain bin that had been on the farm for many years, storing grain up until just a few years prior to the transition. It boasts nearly 800 square feet of a truly unique, round house experience! An upstairs, spacious loft features a queen size bed that sleeps 2. Downstairs features a full size eat-in kitchen including a refrigerator, oven/stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster. You will find all the items you need if you wish to prepare a meal during your stay, a full set of skillets, pots and pans, cooking utensils, baking sheets, olive oil and seasonings. The kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. Just off the kitchen is a cozy living room with plenty of comfortable seating including a loveseat that folds out to a futon, rocker recliner chair, an accent chair and a custom made bench for two! An air mattress can accommodate 2 additional guests to sleep in the living room downstairs. There is one bathroom located downstairs with a full size shower, plenty of towels, a hair dryer and luxury toiletries for you to enjoy during your stay. A laundry room with a large washer and dryer, and iron are included making this Silo a complete home away from your home! Sip your coffee in the morning on the porch that overlooks rolling hills and a water quarry on this 200 acre farm, or relax and unwind in the evening after visiting your favorite wineries. Add ice to the cooler built into the wine barrel on the porch to chill your favorite bottle of wine. The Silo Farm Haus is centrally located between Sainte Genevieve and Farmington, just 13 miles from Farmington, with shops and restaurants to suite anyone's taste. Or, take a short drive in the other direction to historical Sainte Genevieve, to visit their downtown shops and restaurants. You could visit one of the nearby antique malls that are a short drive away, hike one of the nearby walking trails at Hawn State Park, Pickle Springs or Hickory Canyon, or bring your bike to take a ride through beautiful, local scenery. Back at the Silo Farm Haus, you can enjoy a game of cornhole, or cards that are included for your entertainment.
