Staff friendly and helpful, room was clean and dry, heat was good and shower was hot. But the room was tiny - like you'd expect in midtown Manhattan, not in an outdoors resort like Stowe. Nowhere to put clothes - no closet, no chest of drawers. Have to lean your skis and boots up against the wall, where they drip onto the few square feet of hard faux wood tile flooring between the beds (there's no carpet, so you just have to get used to walking around on the dirty, wet floor). The walls are paper thin - you hear every word spoken by your neighbors, and every word on their TV's, as well. Aside from the bar with fried pub food, this place has nothing. No exercise room, nowhere to stretch after a day of physical activity. There's nothing "wonderful/excellent" about this place - it's nothing but a rip off.
