The property is a prime location on Lake Superior. Beautiful views of the lake, sunrises, and ships. It is right on the Lake Front path which I explored some. I bike and the path is a bit rough for sure in places. It felt mostly safe as there was even in colder weather quite a bit of traffic. Room was clean, bed comfy. They had hot apple cider and donuts in the late afternoon and smores with a fire in the evening. Shower controls were a bit funky but they explain them on the hints sheet they provide. They also have free laundry for guests and an okay grab and go breakfast. My coffee maker decided to leak water all over the place on the last day, but maybe that was my fault. Canal Park is a quick trip either by car or you could bike (free rentals) on the path as it’s only about 2.5 miles from the hotel. I brought my own bike so didn’t try one of theirs. My son wanted to visit the area because of the port and the Lift Bridge. We stayed in a penthouse and the patio area was great. It was cold though and the seagulls will come around for sure if you eat out there lol. I would recommend for sure.
