Nice Condo/needs upgrades
Upon arrival we noticed the living room television did not work. We had to pay out of pocket to buy new batteries for the remotes because all the batteries were missing. We contacted the owner and let her know that even after replacing the batteries the tv would not work. She called a maintenance guy that did not arrive until 3 days after check in. This was after numbers messages left with the owner regarding the tv not working. This normally would not have been that big of an issue but when it stormed for the first few days of our trip it was a big deal. Especially since we had three kids under the age of 10. It was very difficult to find things to occupy them due to the weather and COVID-19. Two stools and the garbage disposal were also broken. We were a family of 5 hoping to enjoy our 2 week stay at this condo. The condo was clean but we were unable to do laundry sufficiently due to the dryer not working properly. There was a nice new charcoal grill available on the balcony, but when we went to use it it was gross. It had cigarette butts and trash in it. All of these things were communicated to the owner. She assured us that she would take care of the issues and make sure Evolve would give us a discount/refund on our two week stay. We have yet to hear back from the owner or Evolve regarding the refund. We really enjoy staying in this location. We have stayed in golf colony for the last 10 years, but unfortunately we will not be returning to this particular condo.
