This was a stay of convenience for proximity to the airport for an early flight. The property is very worn and in desperate need to be updated. The parking is shared with another hotel and tucked behind a storage facility, easy to miss. Initial room 226 (and respectively 326, etc.) should be avoided, as they are facing the busy street and are directly behind the elevator - ended up switching rooms to get some sleep.

The toilet was broken, the room was dirty, outdated, broken down and gross. This property is ruining your brand. There was garbage on the floor in the hall. The shower curtain was messed up, furniture beat up, closet door frame damaged, etc. it’s like staying at a fraternity house the night after a party.

When we arrived the front desk worker was amazing. The room was not clean at all, floor dirty, someones earring was on the floor, silverware had dried food on it, bathroom unswept, leftover food in the fridge. When we brought the issues to the manager Heather Brockways attention she told us the housekeeping supervisor is who "cleaned" the room and implied we were lying. While speaking to her she continued to give us attitude about the issues. When we asked for a number to speak to someone about the issues she told us they didnt have one.

The hotel needs a facelift. There are spots ok hole filler with no paint over it. Details just aren’t payed attention to.

I honestly don’t feel I could properly describe our shock when we walked in to this hotel. It seemed surreal, I am not sure how someone can operate a hotel and it be that dirty. Our towels had hair on them. there was a red liquid on the carpet and splattered on the doors. The bathroom had sticky substances on it and there was a really terrible smell. If we did not have such an early flight, I would’ve changed hotels, but we just did not have the energy I can’t believe what I saw.

Unpleasant experience

Didnt feel welcome when arrived. Arrived late and had issues with key getting into room. When getting ready in morning, kitchen utensils consisted of 1 metal fork and on plastic, 2 spoons, i steak knife that the gandle was broken off. No HOT water at all (kitchen or bathroom). Warmed up water in mictowave to use in sink to wash up before leaving. Very disappointed.

Know before you go!

Walking in we were immediately met with the smell of marijuana. That continued in lobby area and stairwell. The stairwell exit was propped open by a rock a couple times....we kicked it out as we went up for the night. The bathroom door frame looked like a dog had chewed it and part if the corner drywall had chipped off. Also, a used wash cloth was still on the shower rod. All walls had scuff marks and holes where lighting had been changed but properly covered and painted. Small stain on bed sheet. It also had a smell on our floor and our room that was not in the first floor The website says there is an airport shuttle. There is not! The positive is the kitchenette and coffee station the the lobby.

I was shocked to call and explain the entire table collapsed in my room and the response was “I don’t know anything about that”. Since there was NOTHING offered to me, I used the chairs and the bed to my personal belongings off the floor. You can tell they haven’t put any work into the upkeep. The hallways look extremely ran down. Candlewood use to be so much better than what i experienced.
