This was my second time staying at Belian. I love that it is convient for boat transportation. My favorite part of Belian is the food. Each time going to Bohol I will always spend my first night here.
It was a great stay. The only disappointment is the water in the shower, it is very very slow, its next to nothing at all. It might be because we stay at the 5 th flr., hope they sort it out in the future. Thanks Belian Hotel

The property was overall fine. Only issue when we first arrived was that the toilet did not flush. After 3 maintenance calls I requested to change the room which they obliged. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was good and rotated every day. The main thing I did not like was that the shower door has no rubber seal to keep the water from going out into the bathroom and almost requires someone to put a towel down behind the door while showering otherwise it becomes dangerous, however after staying in numerous hotels in the area, almost every one is this way. I checked a few hardware stores and no one seems to know the rubber strip I’m referring to and many of the showers have raised floors to keep the water from coming out into the hallway which could all be solved by one piece of rubber weather strip which seems to not exist here. Back to my point though , I enjoyed my stay at the Belian as did my wife and I would recommend this hotel over many of the other hotels I’ve been to. The Staff will accommodate any need you have and it’s definitely worth every peso.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The staff looked like they didn’t want to be there. From the customer service point of view, they are not welcoming and smiles were rare. The sheets and towels were very old. And I was charged P200 for a powder make up stain. No hotel has done that to me before. It means the laundry service is poor because they haven’t figured out how to remove powder make-up from sheets. The towels were very raggedy and old and no washcloth was included in the rooms - a very basic need in any hotel. The water in the shower had very, very low pressure and no bath mat was provided so the outside of the shower stall was wet after every shower. This hotel is not worth to be recommended at all.
The room was overall pretty nice. However certain amenities such as hot water and a functioning AC were lacking. There were also no windows leading to the outdoors which felt kind of claustrophobic. The staff were rude and seemed to strongly favor locals over tourists as I was consistently ignored at the concierge desk for extended periods of time.
No decent place to eat nearby , wasn’t allowed to go to room till nearly 3:30 pm, breakfast was only at best average at best rating

Simple hotel with friendly staff near the port
Staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Area was safe and walking distance to the port. Rooms needed to be updated just a little bit. My main concern was that the air con was located almost directly over the bead and constantly blowing the cold air on my face which made it impossible for me to sleep.
A complain was sent to the Bureau of Internal Review since the hotel refused to issue an official receipt for the total amount which was charged to my credit and instead gave us a handwritten acknowledgement.
I’ve stayed at Belian many times for work. It’s simple but clean. The smallest rooms are extremely small. Most rooms do not have windows, so they can feel a bit claustrophobic. The breakfast buffet is decent, with brewed coffee (rather than instant, which is the norm in the Philippines). Staff are all quite friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to both ferry pier and airport.
Spent 2 nights here to visit chocolate hills and before leaving the Island. The sea port is is close to the hotel you can walk it. Free shuttle to Airport which i took. Massage across the street is good and cheap. Next door STK restaurant is ok. Room is clean and modern. Bed was comfortable.
Best of all is staff, they are very friendly, professional and courteous. Great value for the money.
