Wedding Anniversary Holiday Trip
Stay was generally good and room service very good. Cleanliness also very good. Hotel staff are courteous and polite. One set back was that we were told that dining at hotel restaurants will entitle to a 15% discount for hotel room guest but when I had a dinner with my close friends at the Taiwanese Cuisine restaurant on a Sunday, Sept 15, we were told that the discount is not applicable because Sept 17 is a holiday. Not that it matters a lot with 15% discount on a table of 10 pax, but I would expect the offer to be granted as a good will gesture as this was a last minute decision to void the guest discount because of a holiday that is two days later.

First, they advertise they have a laundry room which they don't. when I got to my room I found underwear from previous customers. and they will not hold any delivery for you at the lobby counter EVEN they confirm is yours, the delivery guys is all sweaty and rush, good thing I went down fast or I am sure he is doomed cuz he is timer. what is wrong with these people. never want to stay in this place ever and will not recommended to anyone

I recently stayed at Howard Plaza Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, with something to suit every taste.

This was a fantastic hotel 25 years ago when I first stayed there, but it's hardly been upgraded or updated since and it's in need of a massive overhaul. Given the decent dining facilities swimming pool and air-conditioning, I think it retains its four star status... But it would be nice if the owners pushed hard to update everything. I will definitely use it again.

We stayed only for 1 night due to flying back home. Getting to the hotel from the airport was simple, we took the train which was free. We missed on the shuttle bus by the time we got out of the airport. The hotel was very clean, the facilities were very nice. The gym was nice and the hotel pool was lovely. 3 separate pools, a sauna, and an ice room. The room I booked had the view where you can watch the planes fly off and land on the airstrip which was cool.

Great service but a bit dated.
We had a good stay, however the rooms’ sockets are not modern and fit for purpose. The staff are courteous and friendly. The location is brilliant. I understand you are renovating next year so I’m looking forward to seeing the new hotel.
