This vacation rental is located just a mile from Camelback Ski Resort’s 34 ski trails, year-round Mountain Coaster, Water Park, and Mountain Adventures. Camelback is the centerpiece of Poconos skiing offering a half pipe, tubing, night skiing, and exciting and fun children's programs. Nearby parks, including Big Pocono State Park, and great local restaurants add to a fantastic experience for the whole family. For additional adult fun, Mount Airy Casino is just 10 miles north along with lakes and golfing opportunities.

Adequate base for the resort
Fine to use as base camp for a ski weekend. BYO solo cups because glassware is very limited. Dining chairs cracked but couches comfy. Individual controls for heat in each room is nice even if theyre dated baseboard heaters. Master bed platform was an improvised solutikn thats falling apart but easily fixed to be fine. Lots of minor maintenance issues tyat arent impactful but add up. Sleeps plenty of people and has enough bathrooms for long day on the skopes so good in thst sense

Great Spacious and well equipped house. Nice Kitchen! Great appliances. High tech laundry equipment. High quality furniture etc. Unfortunately a lot of nonfunctional and poorly maintained items, missed or burned light bulbs, damaged ceiling fan control, not maintained ice maker in the fridge. I was spend a lot of time to fix whatever I can and clean all flooring and walls to the best possible conditions for my wife and childrens. As maintenance team manager (30+ years.) in transnational corporation - I understand all difficulties with hiring right people in the specific aria with all limitation of restricted budget ... but basic cleaning should be exceptional and all basic stuff (bulbs, blinds, carpets, appliance ) a must to be in a good shape.

Not kept well
This property was not in good condition. Cracks in walls and cilings. Stains in carpet stains in bathrooms. Brook screens and blinds in windows. The sliding doors had no covers. And the kitchen had Ants! Ants everywhere!!! And that bed was the worse bed that I have ever slept in. No TV programs for the upstairs rooms especially for kids. Scars and Stains on the walls. It cost too much for it to be that bad.

This property was extremely comfortable and a perfect ski getaway for our family of 3. Beds were very comfortable and the house was equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely book again!

Avoid property but not Vacasa
Encountered many issues with this rental: foot and half of snow not cleared off deck, thus rendering it useless as well as access to the grill. If you have small kids, you get why this is problematic! Front walkway was frozen solid with no attention to ice/snow removal. I actually fell, thankfully by myself and not my kids or with my infant. The front and back lightbulb were out (also problematic esp when there is existing ice...can’t see where you’re going). Uncovered electrical outlets-NOT acceptable, but especially for a place marketed to families with kids. Oh, and enjoy the fireplace, but make sure you know there’s no match or lighter to light the fire with. So we had to leave at night to go drive to Weis (20 min away) to get it. Hope you’re not into privacy because the blinds were 50% missing, and hope you don’t care if your doors are locked because the back patio doesn’t lock. There’s no lock at all. Also, two LOADED mouse traps in bathrooms that we were not aware of were there. Again, these issues are annoying to an adult but extremely dangerous when you’re with your small kids. With this being said, the vacasa rep was very very helpful and kind, and resolved our issues. I would give Vacasa properties another shot, but definitely not this location. I’d have to recommend anyone interested in here, avoid.

NEVER BOOK WITH VACASA , EVER !!!
Property itself was lovely but I’ll never rent anything managed by Vacasa again ! Immediately after booking they send you an email with their rules and restrictions , which i get but then they call you afterwards few times to remind you about those restrictions again . “We want to make sure you enjoy your stay buut .....” This already makes you feel unwelcomed, especially when you are spending holiday and have paid over $1900 for 2 and a half day stay ! Like I mentioned, house is nice but you can see Vacasa could care less about taking care of it : smelly trash from previous guests left on porch ; half of the leaflets missing from backyard blind so no privacy at all; TV not working , after i texted regarding this issue , they responded next day with silly solutions, “ try input “, “ is cable plugged in” and never bothered to follow up ( only volume works and you have to aim remote control behind you , because that’s where the box that responds to it is located for some reason . We connected our own Netflix through the phone to their tv) ; no directions the trash disposal compact location, had to text to find out; hand soap bottles filled with water , so cheap... No complimentary card or even a mint . Again, so cheap and uncaring. They start bombarding you with messages again on the check out morning to push you out . They simply ruined our holiday, a very, very expensive holiday..

Horrible racist community house was hot no air house had trash and food left over from a previous
Worse ever the best part was the water park not a friendly community very racist my kids was only playing board games and they called security on us basically for having fun and it was before 11pm when ppl complained about noise if you’ve kids not a good place to vacation
