We checked into the first king size room and the heater did not work. We put the unit off heat, and ran it up to 90° and left for dinner, and it was still cold when we returned. My husband went to front desk to report this and to get extra towels, and was told we would need to turn in dirty towels to get more towels...as is we were planning to steal them, I'm assuming. He was also told that someone would come look at the heat unit. I went to the front desk to explain to her that we needed extra towels and we didn't have dirty towels because we'd just checked in, and when could we expect maintenance to come look at it because it was going to be nighttime soon and it was 30°outside and the unit only blew out cold air. She said in 15-20 minutes. She came to our room in about 5 minutes and said no one was going to be able to come repair it. She then looked at the unit to check to make sure we had it set on heat and and saw that it was set on 90 and blowing cold air. I told her we'd need another room, and she proceeded to check the room to see if we'd messed up anything, I'm assuming again. We were on the first floor and the only other king room was on second floor, and no elevator, and my husband has trouble coming stairs, but we had to if we wanted a king room. She tried to give us a double, but i told her it wouldn't work for us. The second room was warm. The breakfast is disappointing and dirty.
