Overall enjoyed my one night stay at this hotel. This historic hotel was quite different from chain hotel offerings. Front desk staff was friendly, attentive, good. Room and hotel were very clean. Bed, king, was very comfortable I did not use the bar area, but people there seemed to having a good time. Hotel “vibe” was terrific, fun, and with attention to detail. Small concrete parking lot next to entrance was convenient. Location was great. My room did not have a microwave or small fridge. Ice bucket in room , but not ice machine. Getting ice from bar or restaurant can be challenging as these sources are busy. Admittedly this is nitpicking, but the bath shower curtain acted like it was possessed! Flew all over the place. Maybe this is where the spooks hang (pun) out. I was on a motorcycle and with concrete parking full, forced into the other lot, a marginal dirt/loose gravel one behind the building. Not a good option for any vehicle. I did not try the hotel restaurant. I think this hotel is good choice if the small inconveniences are not too bothersome.

Always a great place to stay
Mizpah Hotel is a very unique place that very comfortable and allows you to walk back in time to the days of the old mining west. Although pricey the food is very food and there is an A&W on premises if you want to get a cheaper meal. Didn't have an any ghost adventures although I did last time I stayed here.

Great historical place to stay for not just history buffs like me but anyone passing through to check out a little bit of history. I loved how it didn't feel like it changed much except for the few modern conveniences such as air conditioning and smart TVs.

Property has been updated and has kept the ambiance of the early 1900’s. Beautiful inside. The rooms are small. Our shower and curtain could have been cleaned better. It is very dark in the elevator. Hard to read the elevator buttons. The halls were pretty dark, but beautiful lobby on each floor. We had requested a refrigerator for the room. We were told it would be a separate charge. However when checking in, we were told there are NO refrigerators at their facility.

Extra charge for room refrigerator. At the rate they charge, it should have been included. Problem with internet due to lack of contrast between text and background on sign-in page. No doubt this can easily be fixed, and no doubt also that front desk staff has spent too many hours explaining fix to guests. No guest laundry on premises. Should have one in an isolated town like Tonopah.

Good spot in a nifty town but...
Nice spot...two notes: nice inviting room. The 6-10 inch snake of Soft Scrub in the basin was a surprise. CLEARLY someone did not get to that sink. I used a cloth and scrubbed it. Thanks for the product. Other item. Wonderful old hotel and considered a bar drink and dinner but decided you did not want me there as the bar had untrue Fox news on. Let's avoid political theatre, please. Let the tv screens give us Olympics or other sports...not lies.

Mizpah a kiss from the past
You can never go wrong staying, playing, dining at the Mizpah. Don't miss stAying at this historic hotel. Dinning weather in the cafe or Jack Dempsey room the food as out of this world. The staff are happy friendly and Re very welcoming. And if you like a little spooky don't forget to go on the ghost tour. Yes I said it a ghost tour. The Mezpah is said to be haunted.....if it is or not your stay will amaze you.

One neglected old beauty
Hotel in various states of disrepair. Side door at parking lot was missing a window. Light bulbs out all over the place, which was particularly rough in the elevator because we had to put our faces inches away from the buttons to see what they were before we could push one. Exterior windows were so dirty it was difficult to see out. Sheets had spots where they were thread bare. The kitchenette sink was filthy and had hair stuck in the removable drain plate. Housekeeping left a prior occupant’s used beverage can under the bathroom sink. The bathroom floor was sticky and gross. The faucet handles looked old-timey and charming, but needed to be turned several rotations to turn water on and off. The claw tub was quaint, but the shower curtain was installed in such a way that the person showering had to do so within a 12” wide space and have to continually remove shower curtain from their body. We were so excited to stay here, but with the severe lack of care by the staff for this beautiful and historic old gal, we don’t being ourselves to come back.
