Be right back sign upon check in. Waited 8 minutes for someone to attend desk. Guy in front had booked but told it was already full. Bathroom gross. Hearing/cooling non functional. Told at check in breakfast wasn’t delivered that day, so not sure we’d have anything though listed as amenity. There were some prepackaged stale muffins and snack bars… some yogurt gladly. Room falling apart. Highly disappointed. It’s clear people don’t want to work here. No one home at check out either.

When we checked in the staff was fine. The next morning when we went to have breakfast, the staff was ok but not overly helpful. There were no plates so you had to put a pancake or waffle in a bowl & there was no salt for the hard boiled eggs. The only yogurt choice was vanilla & the area was very congested. I suggest not even offering breakfast because it was not worth it at all. However, I guess they want to tout that as a perk because that is one of the main reasons I chose this location but I won't do that again.

Their sign says they are award winning but I found the property to feel tired and needing sprucing up. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and shower with good hot water and pressure. It was nice to have microwave and small refer in room. But carpet was stained and furniture old. Also their “light continental “ breakfast was very light. One morning not much was offered due to not getting supplies in. I do not think I would stay there again.

The room was disgusting with dirty carpeting and dirty towels. The Manager was suppose to call me given I was so unhappy about the condition of the room but I was ghosted. Do not stay at this hotel!

My stay was pleasant, but the rugs are very old and need replacement and I could not get my curtains to not have a gap. Since the windows are along the walkway, I was concerned someone could see me getting dressed or get into the jacuzzi tub.

This hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the airport which was convenient when we had to get an Uber ride to and from the airport since the car rental place said they would be open when our flight arrived and they weren't.

I would not stay here again. Beds were horrible, huge divots in the middle of bed, completely sunken in mattresses, very uncomfortable, flimsy towels, a/c unit leaked on desk, dirty carpet. Found a pair of dirty underwear from previous guest in room. The staff at front desk were pleasant and helpful but the actual room, very poor. I’m surprised at this because it is the Wyndham name as well as Howard Johnson. There are very many hotels to choose from in Traverse City. My next stay will not be here.
