When we got to the place, check in went smooth. The front entry was inviting, and the front bedroom was fine. It is on the corner next to a busy street, which is very loud, but I knew that reading a few other reviews. The wifi wasn’t working, but that wasn’t a huge deal until I started settling in and found issues. I look through sheets when prepping for the night , and I found stains on sheets (I have a photo). Then we went to check out the back room with the bunk, and the room smelled like sour feet, old carpet, there were some stains, and then later I realized it also smelled like animal urine, so I kept all my pets out of that room. The main couches also smelled like sour feet. My poor husband slept in the bunk room just to get some sleep, but he said the smell was horrible because we had to keep the door closed so our pets wouldn’t enter the smelly room. I would have just washed the sheets with the stain, but there was no laundry detergent and my husband found a mop bucket of old dirty water in the corner of the laundry room. The back door “lock” was a 2x4 that said “door lock” with sharpie on it because the actual slider lock was broken, and it was also difficult to open and close. I appreciate offering a pet-friendly place, but this was probably one of my worst stay experiences anywhere, ever, and I’ve traveled a lot. I wasn’t expecting this from a Premier Host at all.
