Some areas of the hotel are filthy (elevator, hallways) Staff was very nice and helpful but the hotel itself is not nice. Toilet and tub had not been cleaned and the smell in the hallways was awful. Very limited options in Kilmarnock so beggars can’t be choosers.

I never give reviews but the girl who chcked us in last night at 10:40 Pm was so sweet. Pleasant.and kind with my two small. Sleepy children. I was in a rush and dont remenber her name but she really left an impression on me and my children. I also loved having a pizza hut classic nearby. We do not have any in PA.

When I arrived there was only one person handling everything. He was the person at the front desk and he was also the person cleaning all the rooms. This is unacceptable! Despite this, he was polite.

Terrible Stay
Hotel was very understaffed, but that was ok. The 3 rooms around where we stayed were extremely loud. I asked them to try to keep it quiet(at 11pm) and they ignored this. I talked to a staff member and she said she could do nothing, I asked for another room and she said there wasn't one without even looking(she was on the phone with a friend). We had to leave the hotel at 11pm and find another hotel. Terrible stay and I feel I deserve a refund.

Every time we walked passed the front desk they were talking about racist this and that. An employee or someone that seemed to work there had his beer sitting on the check in counter and was like I’m off the clock. Doors were being opened and shut until like 3 am. You could hear everything everywhere

This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in in the past 20 years and I traveled a lot. Booked the hotel weeks beforehand via Expedia.com where the cost was identified as 146.55 per night (including tax) for 2 rooms. When I arrived 1 of the rooms we were given was occupied, and this happened twice. Third time is a charm the room was unoccupied clean and acceptable. The 2nd room had a caterpillar on the bed, and when we pulled back the sheets it had no fitted sheet. When we went to make up the bed we found a spyder crawling, and in capturing the spyder we found 4 bed bugs (verified via google). When we asked to replace the room, they only had one that the AC wasn’t working in; but after a very long day we took it at a discounted rate. Back to the original rate quoted on Expedia$146.55; well at checkout the rate I paid was $169.00 for the room $8.96 state tax $13.52 county tax a total of 191.48; $44.93 over the Expedia charge. The hotel looked worn, the carpets in the hallways looked dirty, one of the rooms didn’t have the amenities you’d expect from a hotel costing $200.00 per night. Never again will I stay in the Best Western in Kilmarnock Virgina. Note the Chesapeake Doughnut Company was amazing, Grear Food & Great Service (we will drive out of our way to go back).

Place was dirty smelled like Marijuana saw one staff member smoking a joint right out front floors are just nasty there was something smeared on the floor getting on the elevator the second day there and after 10 day when i checked out it was still there dont recommended unless its absolutely the last resort place.
