Great little hotel
Great little hotel. Fantastic customer service and very welcoming. Nice little pool and bar area on roof terrace. All the staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Stylish boutique hotel near a convenient metro stop from which you can access the Sagrada Familia and the meeting points for any tours you might book. You can also walk to many places in 20 minutes. The service was excellent. Be sure to ask for recommendations from the front desk. My only minor notes: The gym is tiny so if that's important to you, stay at a larger hotel. Also, the elevator makes a clacking sound when it goes up and down. It was a minor distraction that stops late at night.

It was comfortable. Windows were at the bottom part of the room and felt slightly claustrophobic. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help us. The location was not to our liking being in the middle of the Ramblas but that feature may appeal to some younger people. We are in our 70s.

Small but very nice property with good staff and service. Sits in the middle of busy and extra crowded street/boulevard. Epicenter of the day/night activities. Streets on the back side of the property are somewhat sketchy, but hotel itself resides in a very good/social/walkable/entertaining street/avenue/boulevard. My wife and I have enjoyed or two nights stay at this charming hotel.

An excellent hotel in a winning location

Just had a two night stay at Hotel Bagues. The staff who met us at reception were incredibly helpful and welcoming, as were all the staff we spoke too. The hotel is beautiful and the location is superb. La Rambla is really busy, but the hotel was a real oasis of calm even in the middle of the city. Will stay there again.

The Hotel Bagues was a wonderful find. It is a small intimate hotel with a wonderful staff. Not only are they extremely helpful, but also genuinely delightful to interact with. My wife and I enjoyed our conversations with the various staff and learned about their various histories. The hotel itself is perfectly located for tourists. It is within casual walking distance to most of the main areas of interest including the Mediterranean Sea. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a home base to explore the various sights of Barcelona.
