We had a wonderful stay! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean and we loved having a canal view! The area was safe and quiet at night but conveniently located with lots of dining and transportation options. The buffet breakfast was a nice addition.

Came to Venice on our 20th anniversary and decided to stay at this hotel. Upon entering I noticed construction work being done and I heard nothing but jackhammers busting through concrete. They did not let us know that construction work was being done at the hotel or I would have changed locations. It Is no fun wanting to sleep in on your anniversary and being woke up every morning to loud jackhammers right outside your window. When I asked about it they said it happened five days ago which means they could have gave the guest time to change but didn't think it was necessary as they wanted to make money instead of making their guests happy. They thought for the inconvenience of the noise they wouod give 1 free drink. But every time we went to the bar there was no one there to get a drink. We wound up going to a bar around the courner. The location is great but if you decide to stay here call first to make sure there is no work being done, as it was so loud that you couldn't stay in the room without losing your mind. Very disappointing

This is a magical hotel with an incredible room. This place has so much Venetian charm. If you want a modern room, this is not for you. If you want an authentic feeling of Venice, then settle in. The staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful. They arranged a water taxi to the airport that showed up on time and got us to our flight. The one thing I would criticize is that the breakfast was complete rubbish and borderline inedible. However, you can get a nice breakfast at any bar in Venice, so I did not take away a star because all else was so nice. Also, this place is super convenient to all of Venice. You can literally see the Bridge of Sighs from in front of the property. It is also steps away from San Marco. The room was also very quiet which I appreciated especially since it was so close to everything. I travel with a family ( a 7 year old) and we would definitely stay there again.

We loved the hospitality provided by the hotel and it's staff. The location was perfect for our vacation. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. They went above and beyond for us. I became injured while on our stay in Venice. We had made arrangements for a shared water taxi from the hotel to the Venice train station. Due to a sprained ankle I would not be able to walk to St. Mark's Square to meet our "shared" water taxi. The hotel made arrangements for our "shared" water taxi to pick us up at the Columbina Hotel. We were very grateful for the assistance they provided for us. We would recommend staying at the Columbina Hotel when you vacation in Venice.

Enjoyed the excellent location of the Colombina Hotel and friendly staff. The morning breakfast offered a nice assortment of foods, but the area in which to eat was a bit tight. Another downside was the fact that there was no air conditioning in early October and the rooms were stuffy. Upon opening the windows, the mosquitos came into the room, so sleeping was a bit challenging. The location of the hotel was perfect for touring St. Mark’s Square, the Basilica and Doge’s Palace.
