Overall it was a good place to stay. We stayed in ocean view room on floor 22 of the Tapa tower which has been refurbished. The room was at the back of the building though and is more like a partial ocean view room as the main view from the room was the building opposite, you had to go onto the balcony to get the ocean view so this was disappointing as the view was nothing like what is advertised online and we paid extra for the ocean view over a partial ocean view room. On the positive side, the room was much larger than expected with two sinks and a large couch as well as a table with chairs. Shower took a very long time to heat up as well. Easy walk to Ala Moana mall and great place to stay in a Friday for the fireworks.

Decent location in Waikiki on the beach. Walk about 1/2 a mile on the beach to get to good restaurants.

Nice location

Diamond Head Tower is old, but well located with the beach and other pools close by. Also, it is where the Uber pick up and drop off is located.

Property was very nice great shopping and things to do without leaving the grounds housekeeping was great room was lovely the bed was comfortable perhaps some water bottles for your guests would be nice

Everything was great except the lack of hot tubs. 3 separate pools and decent sizes, not counting the adult pool. Only one of the pools, which was the furthest away, had a 2 tiny hot tub. 2 tiny hot tubs and one was closed for 2 days while there. One tiny hot tub with tons of people is ridiculous.

I came to Hawaii for my 30th birthday and this hotel is amazing! I had a great time ! Butttt workers on strike and made crazy commotion all hours of the day and night with a megaphone, hotel did not acknowledge the strike and acted as if it wasn’t there nor gave discount. I won’t return because of the way strike was handled I ever received a notice of a strike ruined a very romantic time. But the resort it self is extremely nice and hotel rooms beautiful.
