Great property that’s super walkable to dining, attractions and shopping. Beautiful Beacon Hill Park is kitty corner to the property and has beautiful flower gardens, ponds and birds. Room was very nice and clean and daily service to tidy up and replace towels was very nice. Would highly recommend Helm’s Inn.

Stayed in middle Parkside building, third floor, very quiet considering its busy location. Beds were a bit on the firm side and very comfortable. Parking was OK, however a bit dicey if you're one of the last ones in at night. We checked in on a Friday and the power was out in the two rear buildings, along with other areas in the neighborhood. Restored at 11:30 pm. I know there were other people who were checking out on the weekend but couldn't get compensation beyond cancelling the parking fee for the night because the desk person wouldn't/couldn't get management involved until the following Monday.

This was an okay place, I feel like I over payed for the quality of the place. Outside looks are incredibly deceiving, I was actually generally worried when I first arrived. Rating would be a 3 1/2 star stay.

Great price! And the property was well kept, neat and tidy. Room was great, linens and bedding were clean, bed was comfortable. Good location, walking distance from the ferry terminal, and downtown. Will stay here again in the future!

Best thing about this hotel is the location. Right across from Beacon Hill Park, easy walking distance of inner harbour, shopping, restaurants, rental car, etc. Super friendly staff, accomodating to our late arrival. Clean & comfortable. Stayed 3 nights and no issues until the 3rd night when a noisy family arrived late, right next door. Learned then that the walls were very thin!

It was nice to be across from Beacon Hill park. 15 minute walk to the restaurant we booked. It was drizzling when we left for dinner and they had umbrellas available for us to use. All in all a good place to stay for the night.

It was VERY noisy. Between the street traffic and the people doing gymnastics above us very little sleep was had. Not entirely the hotels fault, the staff were very helpful in a couple problems we had but unfortunately we left very tired and a little grumpy

Very nice property and room. If you want to cook, they have a stove and all the pots and pans. Roomy deck with adequate privacy. Sofa bed in the living room. Comfortable King bed.

Great location! Across from beautiful Beacon Hill Park!! Two blocks from downtown. Had a neighborhood power outage for 12 hours our last day. Management provided a half day refund as an accommodation for the inconvenience. Given all of that I would return to Helms, no problem.

I really enjoyed our stay at the Helms Inn. I have been there several times in the past this is the first time I had a Lower floor suite It was suitable and clean and spacious I think the bathroom amenities could be improved. They just have those tiny little soap bars and a couple of tubes of shampoo, etc.. I also found that the price A little bit high compared to previous stays however, I still Enjoyed staying there and I recommend it

We “walked on” the ferry and had bags which we didn’t want to pack all around. They cheerfully locked them up in a closet for us while we were out and about. Staff was kind and cheerful. Very clean, comfy beds. Loved having a kitchen area. Great all around visit. Absolutely loved being able to walk everywhere, close to things!
