This is a quaint little Inn. Its very clean and they seem to be doing renovations to upgrade the property. The staff is friendly and very helpful and the property is in a perfect location. Walkable to so many of Victorias sights. My only complaint was thay it wasn't very sound proof and when the room above was occupied it was a bit noisy.

Nice clean accommodation. Friendly staff. Well priced for the location. Only downside there are no elevators to upper floors which could be a challenge for some guests. Parking was a challenge on site both nights with the lot being very full. Have not had that issue there on previous stays so perhaps an anomaly. Overall a good choice for the downtown harbour location.

Rooms are updated and comfortable, and staff is helpful and professional. Pleasant smaller hotel. Only concern was that floors creak fairly loudly. If that doesn’t bother you, it’s a non-issue.

Friendly staff, good location, nice room. No elevator, but not too many stairs really. Limited amount of coffee in rooms, but not a big problem. Great location for visiting BC Museum and not too far to walk to other city highlights especially Beacon Hill Park (across the street!) Would definitely stay there again. Lots of renovations going on, so it will get better and better, I guess

The location of the Helms Inn is ideal - it is right across the road from Beacon Hill Park. It is walking distance to the seashore and also walking distance to downtown Victoria and all the restaurants.
