Parking needs to be better.
First we got a room with a stain and we were moved quickly. Clearly a dog spot had not dried. It was fixed and handled. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was difficult and across the street in another building. Don't bring a big truck.

We stayed for a week and loved it. We were in the superior room and we felt like we were at home. The room was big and spacious. Everything is new and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is within walking distance. There is complimentary coffee, tea and fruit in the lobby. The restaurant on site is very nice as well.

Secure parking. Close to waterfront, shopping, and many activities. Staff was outstanding. Nice modern room. Great in room espresso. Tv was ready to connect to phone/tablet. Would stay here again.

Stayed two nights. Hotel and bar staff was excellent and extremely accommodating. As an Expedia VIP, I was upgraded to a king suite, which was spacious and comfortable. Hotel offers for-fee underground parking but in building a few minutes away. Hotel is within walking distance of numerous shopping/eating/bar options, but can be noisy with sirens and traffic-related noise. That area of Douglas left me a bit concerned with regards to safety as there appears to be several homeless people camping out further up the street; they weren't aggressive but were bordering on being in distress. On my last morning in the area, a saw a man pacing the street with drug paraphernalia. Ten minutes later the same man was laying unconscious on the sidewalk. It was 10 am. The area has clearly seen in increase in homelessness and high-risk drug use in the five years since I last visited.
