You'll find this garden-level condo at Waikoloa Colony Villas, a beautiful community that sits one mile inland from Anaehoʻomalu Beach. If golf is on the agenda, you'll be half a mile west of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course, and one mile south of the Mauna Lani Golf Course and the Francis H. I'i Brown Golf Courses. Queens' MarketPlace and Kings' Shops are both just a quarter-mile away, and you can even swim with the dolphins at the Hilton Waikoloa one mile away.

THINGS TO KNOW
Irrigation work is underway and scheduled to complete by the end of April 2023. Buildings 12, 13, 14, 15, and 19 will be close to the construction. Expect associated noise and dust. Additional irrigation work will start in October or Nov of 2023, with no projected end date. Buildings 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, and 23 will be impacted.
The Makai pool will be closed for construction starting the second week of April 2023 and is expected to last until July.

Great with the potential to be Amazing

As other reviewers have noted, the unit is a bit tired. We had a couple cleaning issues but the VRBO staff responded immediately and took care of us. For the price this is likely the best deal in Wiakaloa Village and the pool and pickleball courts are immediately adjacent the home.Parking for the second vehicle can be tricky in the evening hours, we always found parking but a couple nights we had a long walk. Which we enjoyed as the property is beautiful. The designated stall for the first car is close to the unit. We would stay here again, but we do believe this can be an amazing stay with a little upkeep and updating.

This is a Vacasa managed property. It was ok on clean standard. Dusting need above frig and ceiling fans. Thermostat had a limiter set to 73 for AC. One bedroom is located above the garage on the unit and would be warm than the others. Beds good are. Things you need in the kitchen and for the beach are available. Short supply of cheap toilet paper. Everything mechanical operatored properly. Check-in information was not provided to until 23 hours prior and no map was provided so you had to search for the unit.

Great location, but this unit is tired!

We have to say we appreciated the management’s responses to our concerns, they sent out a carpet cleaning company to have the carpets and furniture cleaned and the baseboards wiped down and the slider washed right away. This unit is tired and could use an update.

Property was plenty big for the 4 of us. Kitchen well stocked with cooking tools, etc. Property proximity to community pool, tennis court, etc. is good. Property is not well cleaned. Rugs are not sized for the room and is a safety issue. Multiple members of my party tripped by the rug and hit leg on the bed frame (with bruised leg!). Patio furniture is dirty. Suggest changing outdoor furniture that can be cleaned.

Family-friendly, spacious and thrifty HI housing

Our family of five enjoyed the spacious condo on our first trip to HI. We enjoyed having a kitchen to prepare meals (although very limited pantry staples), 2.5 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. The hot tub and pool were right across the street and not busy when we visited. Quiet area and pretty close to many amenities, including beach five minutes by car. Carpet and baseboards could use an update but other than that it was great for our family. We appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels, boogie board and snorkel gear. We didn’t use tennis rackets. One recommendation would be to add a beach umbrella to the amenities. If we visit again, we’ll stay here.

Updates needed. Not family friendly

Tired and overtly stained carpet was throughout the unit. Obvious mold/mildew in the primary shower was present as well. I was terrified to let our son crawl or older children walk barefoot on the floor. Sheets were visibly stained as well. The community is nice, but this unit needs several changes before it should be considered appropriate to host again.

Location, Pool, Plenty of Space

My family of 3 and my parents stayed at this property for our week vacation. We loved the location and the shops close by. Very walk friendly with paths everywhere. The pool is close to the property which my son appreciated. The location on the island is also great since you can get to a variety of beaches to snorkel in 10-20min. The property was big enough for all of us to be together or get space if we needed. The only very minor thing we noticed was the carpet on the stairs looking a little dirty. Great place to stay, wonderful condo complex and would absolutely stay here again.

Piece of Paradise

Amazing property (clean, secure, fully functional) in well maintained community. The property is good size for a family of 5. The townhouse is fully stocked with towels, blankets, tennis rackets, 3 surfboards, 2 scooters. There are plenty of dishes and utensils. The mattresses have the top quality. Jacuzzi, tennis court, gas BBQ, and pool in the gated community. 20 min walk to a wave protected beach. 15 min walk to a food store. 15 min walk to Hilton resort ($6 parking/per hour) to relax and swim with dolphins. High quality Internet access allows to work from the property. AC is fully functional.

Quiet and spacious condo!

Overall had a wonderful experience as plenty of space for two adults and two teens to spread out and relax. Well stocked kitchen overall (pans could be better and most had no lids) but was great to be able to cook some meals! Beds were very comfortable. The pool was also super close and convenient to come home to after long hot days exploring. The carpets going up the stairs and into the hallway desperately need to be cleaned or replaced but otherwise in good shape. Loved the location which was close to local beaches as well as the King’s and Queens shopping center for necessities and meals.

Great location, great complex, unit wasn’t the cleanest

We’ve stayed at the Colony Villas many times and the area is fantastic. This particular unit wasn’t the cleanest we’ve stayed at. The carpets were quite filthy which we brought to the attention of the property manager so hopefully they will replace or get a thorough cleaning.

Awesome spot

This was an amazing family spot. It was really useful to have a full kitchen as well as laundry. The unit was very clean, as was the property as a whole. The only issue we had was finding a code to get through the front gate. We ended up having to ask other renters at the property what the code was. All in all, the trip was fantastic and we would love to come back soon!

Excellent Condo in Waikoloa

The rental was just what we needed to come back and sleep after an amazing days on the big island! The 3 queen beds were perfect and the condo had everything we needed including some pool gear. I would stay here again for sure! Thanks for adding to an incredible trip!!

My family and I stayed in this condo for our trip to Hawaii to celebrate a birthday. The condo was awesome - very clean, stocked with everything we needed, and conveniently located near beaches and stores. There was a very minor issue with the garbage disposal and management took care of it immediately. I highly recommend this condo!

Quiet, convenient, and well-appointed

My wife and friends stayed for 8 days and the accommodations were perfect. It’s in a good location and the community amenities were good. It was priced well and the property guide book was well done. The minor issues we had were promptly and competently handled by the property management company. We’d stay again, if available, during our next stay on the Big Island.

Overall a very nice place to stay!

This is a nice, newer condo in the Waikaloa area, walking distance to plenty of shops and the beach. The only issue was it had not been cleaned when we arrived from the previous guests. The cleaners came the next day, it is just not very exciting to arrive somewhere after 12 hrs of travel and have to wash your sheets before going to bed!

Gorgeous grounds, landscaping and pool area. Upscale shops and closest to the islands best beaches. Only negative was sustained winds of 30-40mph dampered the overall experience
