The hotel is very clean, well kept. Straightforward accommodations, as is the brand's target audience - don't expect a very fancy room (it is modern, new, clean, but the tile on half the room and the bathroom, for instance, lends it an air of efficiency, never of luxury).
The location is very convenient to Metro; there are also several restaurants about 2 - 3 blocks away.
Parking, as in most urban or semi-urban hotels, is an indecent $40 a night. Without valet, just to park there. This is a shame, as there were not many cars in the garage. It would be great if it could be offered complimentary or at a lower rate.
Sustainability in the room is good, with large toiletries available (and refilled) instead of those pesky little single use plastic bottles; on the other hand, at breakfast they generate a ton of plastic and other types of waste with the use of disposable everything - plates, cups, utensils. This practice should be abolished everywhere.
