This hotel was centrally located in the small village of Alma, and the staff was accommodating. Note that cell service in the area is not good, and the hotel’s Wi-Fi is not strong. The town clearly is experiencing a Labor shortage, so take a deep breath and be a little extra patient.
For an old building the room was very clean and well kept. Staff were great. The restaurant was amazing. Highly recommend the Parkland to anyone visiting Alma.

Perfect location for annual weekend in Alma. Quiet, relaxing, excellent restaurant and service. Bed was amazingly comfy. No AC but wasn’t really needed. Would recommend and will stay here again
Hosts were fantastic with easy relax check-in, helpful with a delightful experience.
Our only slight recommandation would be to add AC if ever possible - fans (ceiling and potable) were in the room, but some nights can now be warm... Just a suggestion, as the room was lovely and clean.
Would definitely come back !
Our room overlooked the harbour which provided a great view of the tides coming in and out, leaving the commercial fishing vessels high and dry. Lugging our suitcases up three flights of stairs was the low point.
I cannot rave enough about this beautiful property! We were on a trip from New York to see the Bay of Fundy. We had a room with a balcony and we could see out to the Bay of Fundy for miles!! Looked like a picture perfect postcard! The staff were wonderful and the entire property inside, outside even the parking lot absolutely immaculate. I will recommend it to everyone. I know I will be back myself again one day. Thank you for an awesome time! Canada is a beautiful place!!!

Returning customers, always a great experience. Make your dinner reservations for Tides Restaurant early! Incredible food, we always try the specials and have a full lobster dinner.
An FYI - If you are planning to work while travelling I would recommend a signal booster for both cell service and wifi (service isn’t great through the entire area, this is normal).
Looking forward to our next stay!
A fairly big room with a comfortable bed. We were able to park right out front. We visited the Tides restaurant in the hotel and enjoyed a great lobster dinner. There is no shortage of places to eat nearby. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
We stayed at the Parkland Inn on Alma for two nights. The Tides restaurant was excellent and convenient being just downstairs. The reception worker was super friendly as well as all the other staff. We could see the boats at high and low tide from our huge picture window, and it was a short walk to the dock which apparently is the only working dock in the area. Breakfast was just across the street at the Muddy Rudder, and the beach nearby was fun to explore at low tide. One negative was that there was no AC so we had to keep the front and back windows open for airflow and the fans going. I think for the convenience of being so close to the dock I would stay here again but maybe during cooler weather.
Lovely hotel inn with views of the beach. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the beach. Very nice room with large comfortable bed. Staff very pleasant and friendly. They arranged a table at the in house Tides restaurant which was excellent. We really liked Alma, which is ideally situated just outside the Fundy national park and a 35 minute drive to Hopewell Rocks. There are plenty of eateries and a nice craft brewery nearby.

We WERE having a good experience until we had a very negative encounter with the OWNER OF PARKLAND VILLAGE INN. I became very, very ill and was up all night sick and couldn't get off the toilet. I requested an 1 hr extension for our room to convalesce. When i called, he said NO immediately to me and showed no compassion, empathy or kindness for what i was going through. I even offered to PAY for an extra hr to remain in the room as i was still sick and absolutely needed bathroom facilities. The Owner said he was short staffed with cleaning staff, YET, he could not send his 2 cleaning staff to any of the other rooms to offer me one more hr to try to pull myself together. He could have left our room for last for cleaning. My husband and I have never experienced such Un-Accomodating and UNKIND dealings in the hospitality industry. The Owner of PARKLAND VILLAGE INN is absolutely NO AMBASSADOR for New Brunswick Tourism.
