This is my 3rd stay since the property became The Red Roof Inn. Overall, still a much better place than years past. My only complaints are the rooms are starting to need attention. On this visit, the air conditioner was not working properly and making a lot of noise when on (Room 222). On my previous visit, the lock on the door was broken and, as it was the weekend, no one was available to fix it. If the property wants to maintain decent ratings, I suggest they have a regular maintence schedule for the rooms ( or at least check ups) and ensure a property maintainence person is available all times. The only other item was the front desk staff. They were great however, they are expected to do laundry thus leaving the front desk area. Upon check out we waited for someone for over 10 minutes until someone reappeared. If this is the arrangement, please put in a bell or buzzard that can alert staff that customer service is needed at the front desk. Overall, good stay.
