My partner & I had the best experience at the Quechee Inn. When we checked in on 1/11, the concierge (wish I caught his name) was so friendly and sweet, and even upgraded us to a larger room! Our room was lovely, and the common area bar & fireplace were wonderful. The complimentary breakfast was also top-notch. We will certainly be back, and highly recommend this place to others.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Quechee Inn. We stayed there with our 5 kids (now they are 20, 16, 14, 11 and 9) and this time we took our aunt along with us. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere especially by the fireplace. The grounds and trail were very enjoyable to walk around and let the kids play and the included breakfasts was amazing. This year we ate a few dinners at the inn and they were spectacular! They have an excellent Chef whose friendliness made you feel very welcome and taken care of which made the the whole experience even better. Right across the road there’s a trail dividing the river and lake which leads to the gorge. On our walk there we saw men ice fishing on the frozen lane and an ice skater which inspired us to get some ice skates and try it out. It was an amazing experience! Down the road they have Simon Pearce Restaurant where they do glass blowing downstairs. It’s mesmerizing to watch. They also have Sugarbush farm where you can tour how they make maple syrup and cheese! We are looking forward to visiting again!
I love old buildings and history, so this house built in 1796 with nearby giant red barn hit the spot for what I wanted. Very pretty location near the heart of Quechee. There's a nice restaurant with amaxing breakfast included with the room. We'll definitely stay again!
1. Found housekeeping had left room refrigerator set to max, which caused a glass bottle of sparkling water to burst.
2. The American flag outside our room was in shreds, extremely disappointed management was unaware/ failed to retire with respect.
We had a very pleasant day. The people were very friendly and very relaxing. The restaurant was amazing. The location for the area and several things to do was very nice. I would highly recommend this for a quiet day.
My wife had been wanting to visit Woodstock VT for quite some time for its shopping and quaint New England charm. I recently passed the Quechee Inn while on a business trip and decided to take a look. This inn is just what we were hoping for. It’s a short ride to downtown Woodstock. It has everything we wanted, from a restaurant and tavern, to complimentary breakfast with our stay.
The staff is amazing! From the bartenders and wait staff to the concierge to the amazing chef. They aim to please and it makes the stay so much better than ever expected. We highly recommend the Quechee Inn. It’s conveniently located just off interstate 89.
Come here several times and my sister had her wedding. There were a couple of things going on with the room, but when we brought them to the attention of the innkeeper, they were rectified. A beautiful and with a lovely ambience for a getaway or holiday or just explore the areas. We will definitely be back.
This was one of the nicest places we have stayed at. The inn is so beautiful, and cozy. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Actually they did this for all their guests.
We were looking for a quiet, peaceful weekend and we got just that. We will definitely be back again.
We found the Inn very relaxing. We were traveling back from Canada and wanted to break up the drive somewhat. We were pleased to have a restaurant connected to the Inn, as we really didn’t want to drive anymore that day. A charming place to stay and very reasonable considering it was early September.
We read so many favorable reviews we were confident we made a great choice to stay at the inn, boy were we wrong! We had a great dinner one night but they did not even acknowledge my birthday. The room was dirty when we got there (more than one dust bunny) and a crushed Cheerio we had dropped did not get cleaned up. The box spring was stained, the ceiling was stained, the light was out in the bathroom & when it got fixed there were two different types of bulbs. I had to ask the front desk twice to get it fixed. Housekeeping kept leaving only one facecloth and one day they left us with a half roll of toilet paper and no Kleenex. When I asked for more they left two rolls & a box (unopened) on top of the toilet instead of putting the extra away under the sink. Our bathmat was threadbare. Dirty linens were left in our hallway for two days. The room we stayed in which was spacious but the floor was really uneven. Just a horrible stay!
I was smitten by what this historic inn had to offer during our stay. Yes, the room furnishings were dated (the electrical outlets could use some upgrades; the plugs were loose) but I think everything else made up for it. We enjoyed the buffet style hot breakfast every morning and the Friday dinner special at the restaurant (Trahan tavern) was very impressive, both the service by the staff and food itself. We were seated outside and we fully enjoyed the beautiful grounds. The staff were all very nice and informative.
