The location is a little questionable. Hotel sign is by the door to the laundromat. Which isn't where you go in to register. Should have plainer signage for entrance. Having registration behind safety glass, doesn't give you a warm safe inviting feeling. But with nothing else available(and we looked) we stayed. The room was extremely small. Stained carpet, paper garbage left by desk. Only 1 glass for drinking. No cups orovided for coffee maker. Linnens wete clean but the bed had a huge bump in the middle. ?? Not sure what that was.. we parked in the street as the parking lot was full and tight with customers from laundromat, message parlor, babber shop and another business.

The rooms are quite comfortable and the bedding was excellent. Do not judge a book by its cover, while the building looks older, the rooms are quite nice.

Disgusting

Property was trashy- worst place I have ever stayed in. Stinky like cat pee - sketchy place and I would never recommend this to anyone. Sheets were stained and I felt so dirty being in the room.

Absolute shambles! The whole basement had a distinct smell that can drive one away. Blanket had cigarette holes, towels were worn out with their cloth stretched to show holes, every piece of furniture was torn and stained! With a public laundromat on main floor, parking was always hard to find. When complained to the staff about the condition of the room, we were told: “but the hotel is old”! So it became my fault that I chose the hotel! Unless you risk of sleeping on the street, avoid this one!

There was an elevator to the 3rd floor, it was nice to not have to take our stuff up stairs. They advertised air conditioning, but it was centrally set and the room was far too hot for my comfort. The staff was very nice.

Property has recently changed owners and name to STOP IN FAMILY HOTEL. It is a decent enough hotel, has all the basic amenities you would need. Fridge, microwave, tv etc. Staff very friendly and working hard to take care of the hotel. Easy walk to Shipyards park and trails along the river. The area around the hotel is a bit transient but we had no issues of any kind.

Almost 5 stars

Great room, very clean. I had to make the comfort 4 stars because they do not use a fitted sheet on the mattress. They use a flat sheet and it barely tucks. I wrestled keeping it in place all night long.

Stayed 4 nights. Convenient location in the CBD. Prepare yourself for low-attendance to any shortcomings. e.g. Cups & coffee pods were lacking, rooms unserviced daily when they're meant to be serviced, complained about the A/cond. fan excessive noise, serice person failed to turn-up to attend to that, there is no room temp. adjustments, we were unwantingly cooled 24/7. An average place for the room charge, room for improvement with front desk communicating with service staff - this seemed to fail totally in spite of the good intentions made.

Room was dirty, ice bucket and coffee jar seemed to have not been cleaned for days, very poor bed and linen, basic amenities like iron, hair dryer, tea bags, hair conditioner, lotion, not available in the room (website said that I can obtain these facilities from the front desk, but those were not available and staff was not helpful at all). Overall, a poorly run and poorly kept facility. I would not recommend this to anyone.
