I just want to be made whole.
We flew from Pittsburgh to Orlando to spend some time with family for Christmas. We spent a considerable amount of time, searching the Internet and websites for hotels that had the amenities that we were looking for. Most of the hotel prices in the Ocala area were competitive and very close in price. After vetting multiple hotels, we settled on Hampton Inn and suites located at 2075 SW hwy 484, Ocala, Fl 34473. When pulling up to the property, we observed debris, machinery, clutter everywhere outside. Once we parked and made our way to the reception desk the environment did not improve. There were common hotel areas were closed n disarray; ripped apart with debris lying everywhere; sections of the hotel lobby roped off with dust and dirt everywhere. First impulse was to walk out and get another hotel but it was already 8 PM when we arrived. I asked the front desk attendant why were we not informed that your hotel was under construction? We should’ve been given the opportunity to make an informed decision about where we wanted to stay. The attendant snapped at me saying that hotels.cm should have known and told you. The next morning I spoke to hotels.com customer service and they said that they were not informed of the situation. Hotels.com promised that they would resolve my refund request within 72 hours. 72 hours came and went and no one contacted me. 24 hours later I received an email saying that they were still working on my concerns. My stay was December 22 - 27th

The hotel is under construction, there where no notification to our reservation The room was not done on our first day of stay, no clean bath, no bed made we alert about the shampoo missing and we did not got a response I had to go to main front who were more diligently I ask for hand cream they could not give any This experience was no good The breakfast was no good, because of renovation Bernice Marrero

Great everything but the beds
Everything was great except the beds were uncomfortable. They were hard to sleep on but the bedding was great. Pillows nice and soft. The man checking is in was fabulous. And the woman working overnight was amazing! Wish I had gotten their names!

The new remodel room was excellent couple things came up. We checked in really Late because of travel. The gentleman at Check in, seen to be stressed or upset. Not a friendly welcoming at all. The room bathroom sink was not draining it took a while to do so. The bathroom shower had no soap.

This property is under construction currently. The road to get to hotel is under construction. The remodeled rooms are beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were great. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast with waffles too. We will stay here again.
