Eh, it was ok. When we checked in, our first room didn't have any working lights and the toilet was running. When we asked for another room they seemed a little put out and wanted to know if we had messed anything up in the first room. (We were literally in there for 30 seconds before coming back down.) The next room was fine. Definitely some wear and tear. The dresser drawers wouldn't stay shut. And we had ongoing issues with the room key. And according to several other guests we spoke to they were having issues as well. On our final night we couldn't get into the room at all so we went back downstairs to get a new room key and one of the people behind the desk was questioning whether we had taken it to the pool or hot tub (we hadn't) and trying to figure out why it wasn't working... they gave us a new one but didn't seem too concerned that there were issues. The pool and hot tub look way better in the pictures when in reality it was kind of murky. Upon checkout the person behind the desk was overall unfriendly and just said "yep you're paid in full" and turned away.. Nothing about how was the stay, thanks for staying with us etc. breakfast buffet was fine. Typical hotel chain with mass produced eggs and make your own waffle stations. Given the choice, we probably wouldn't return, which is a shame because it's a great location and other reviews were good. Maybe they're going through some upgrades and changes I don't know.

Enjoyed staing at this hotel. Great location - close to both Colonial and Busch Gardens. Complementary breakfast was good, and it was great to have coffee available in the lobby at all times. We've also used the pool and the hot tub and had fun there. The gym is pretty small and could benefit from newer equipment. Overall great stay, and great value.

I don’t often leave reviews, unless it’s really extraordinarily good or bad. Unfortunately, in this case it was the latter. The hotel itself was a little rundown and didn’t leave the impression that it was well maintained. Sharpie markers were used to “fix” scratches on the picture frames and a pile of couches were stacked next to an exit. When we finally got into the room, we were greeted with a comforter with feces smeared on it. We were promptly moved to another room, but that room was definitely older, with less plugs and different lighting. There were stains on the sofa mattress too, but by this time, we just laid blankets over it before putting on the sheets. Needless to say, the housekeeping staff needs a good talking to. That said, the breakfast was pretty good, and the hotel was conveniently located near Colonial Williamsburg.

Hotel was just ok. Basic no frills hotel. Front desk staff not always at the desk so had to wait several times. Only one elevator working so that was disappointing. Breakfast was ok - nothing to write home about. Just a basic continental breakfast. Plenty of parking so that was nice. Would stay again.

Stayed for 1 night traveling through. Arrived late and asked for a quiet room location. Front desk attendant was efficient and friendly. The accommodations were fine. Clean room. Room darkening curtains a plus. The night was quiet, which I really appreciated until 6am. There were cleaning staff making loud bangs that woke me up. Was hard to get back to sleep unfortunately with their racket next door. I could hear the vacuum and the opening and closing of doors. It would get quiet ( I assume cleaning during quieter times) then I would be woken back up again with doors opening and closing. Definitely not a great time to be cleaning next to an occupied room! I didn't eat the breakfast as I was in a rush to get back on the road, had coffee. Coffee was terrible. Way too concentrated. No Splenda only equal and sweet n low. Wished I had a better cup of coffee after a rough early morning wake. The property itself was clean , and quiet for the hours I checked in front 10pm-6am. I used the hot tub and pool Clean and working. Tub was hot. I liked that this property offers a pool , hot tub and a little added bonus for those who like a game room . Small but nice for younger guests. All in all it was a good place to crash however did not appreciate the loud noises at 6am
