The location was great for the Ark Encounter which is across the street. However, the property is run down. Our room the first night smelled horribly of stale cigarette smoke and we killed 3 bugs. The two chairs in the room were very dirty. We asked for a different room for our second night, and the owners were very accommodating - they are very nice people and I don't like giving them this less than stellar review. The second room smelled much better and was bug free.The bathrooms have been upgraded with new tub surrounds and counters. Fun fact in our second room, they replaced the toilet with an elongated version which made it impossible to shut the bathroom door as it couldn't clear the toilet. Not sure that even at $130 a night and its location that I would stay there again.

Very nice people, hard workers. Price of accommodation might be due to the motel’s age. Breakfast offers minimal protein other than hard boiled eggs. Thank you.

The motel was nice. Heat(needed during our stay) worked good. Didnt have to deal much with the staff. Continental bfast only. Within walking distance to the Ark Encounter but still a good hike. Not much in ways of dining in the area unless you go into town(about 7 miles). All in all it was a gratifying stay.

We were surprised on how meticulously clean the room was. It smelled clean, the AC worked and we appreciate the tv channel sheet that helped us figure out the channels. The beds were not comfortable but the pillows. The cleaning crew was super friendly and helpful. The lady at the front in the evening was super nice and friendly.
