Showed up at 4pm and the room was not ready. Tried again 1 1/2 later and the room was still not ready. Staff treated us in a very unprofessional manner.

Great views of the beach. The room was just as described. Our only complaint was that there was so much chlorine in the hot tub it made our eyes water and we had to get out almost immediately.

It’s the only decent hotel in Florence overlooking Heceta beach which is gorgeous. The rooms are clean and good for a nights stay with the family. Theirs no AC. Hotel needs some updating, especially for the price we paid which is like a 4 star hotel pricing. Not many dining options around. Overall, it’s fine for an overnight night stay. I’d book again only because of the easy beach access. Hopefully they update in the future.

I can start by saying that the saving grace of this property is the view and the beach which is probably the driving factor for this place. The pictures online make this property look like it's a beautiful building with up to date rooms. When we arrived, I immediately knew this was going to be underwhelming. The lobby i so old and out of date. The elevator is so old and slow. the lighting in and around the place has flies captured in the coverings and are so dirty and stained. The room we had was on the top floor and had such a stunning view. The flooring leading up to the room is old vinyl and the carpet tiles in the room had me immediately decide that I needed my shoes on the whole time while in the room. I think there's a tub overlay because the squeaking while in the tub/shower was constant. The water pressure in the shower was so weak as well. If the owners could put effort into their property, they would have an absolute winner. This place has so much potential!!

Property is very old if you are expecting a newer hotel this is definitely not it. The shower was nice and hot but the bed was very hard. I would not stay here again

Was no able to check into my room until 45 minutes after check-in time; at which point, I went to my room and the housekeeper was in there cleaning and they old me I had o wait another 20 minutes. Not okay. My dog was in the car. The hotel did not even offer to give me any compensation.

The room was spacious and had a kitchen. Love that. No fitness center. Check in was very late. Over 2 hours and we had to sit and wait in our car. It was terrible because our room “wasn’t ready yet” and no one could tell us how long it would be. There was no internet so we had to hang around and wait. They would not give out pass code until we checked in. :(

Beautiful place clean rooms easy check in but we ordered 2 large pizzas from the market it was 30 minutes behind pick up time and they were both burnt on the bottom and not edible..it was 60$ worth of pizza we threw out, it smelled burnt and they sold it to us anyways
