I'll start by saying, we had a really good time here despite a few issues. The proximity to the beach is a huge plus, the neighborhood is lovely, and the home is in good shape overall. I think we might try this place again despite the issues, just because the location is fantastic and it's great to have a pet friendly option when we want to bring the dogs along. However, we had a few issues pop up that either weren't addressed as promised or weren't addressed as well as they should have been.
The driveway (which is fairly steep) was dangerously iced over when we arrived - the first time we tried to park, the car slid down into the street the moment my husband took his foot of the brake. We called and were assured the issue would be resolved within about 20 minutes. 2 hours later we called back and were informed that a partial fix could be done tonight, but that we would have to wait for a better answer tomorrow. Not ideal, as our second car-full of visitors was scheduled to arrive within the hour.
The next issue was the dishwasher, which had several inches of standing water in it when we arrived. The repair guy did come to look, but wasn't able to resolve it. The property management company assured me they would send a partial refund to make up for the inconvenience, but we got home yesterday and I haven't heard anything at all from them.
For dog owners considering this property, this company is phenomenally pet friendly. That was a huge plus for us! The back yard is gigantic, but there were a few spots where it was clear that a previous dog (or maybe a wild animal) had pushed through the fence and made a hole. I did mention it to the company as something that could use repair at some point, but if you decide to stay there with dogs do walk the fence line carefully before letting them out. We were able to pile snow up over the area, so our dogs had a fantastic time tearing around the yard.
