The Owl Hotel is a nice hotel. The staff is awesome. The rooms are clean and nice. One thing that I wish though is that there are more amenities in the rooms. There is no coffee or ice machines in the rooms. It would have been nice to have a small fridge. Other then that the hotel is great.

Bad hotel, good location
We were in Europe for over a month and stayed in 8 different hotels in different cities and I could say this was the worst of the bunch price wise and service wise. The room was tiny and the bathroom even so. The only good thing about this hotel is its good location, walking distance to the museums and parks. The night front desk person when we checked out at 6:00am was asleep at the desk and was grumpy when he woke up. We were told by the evening desk person that we could have coffee and whatever they have available at the kitchen when we check out that next morning, just ask the morning staff and we already paid for the breakfast. We always pay extra to have breakfast at all the hotels we stayed in. All the other hotels offered us packed breakfast when they knew we were leaving early!

As a person traveling alone and knowing I'd spend most of my time out and about, this was the perfect place to stay. My room was tiny, but all the essentials were there. Every front desk staff member I spoke to was friendly and helpful. When I realized I'd forgotten to pack a power converter, they had one to loan me. Wanted a 2nd pillow? No problem. The most lovely surprise was that the tub in my bathroom was an ample size for a lovely hot soak (and there's a Lush not a far walk away that helped make it even better). Easy to reach by bus from the airport and a very short walk to several tram lines. Would definitely stay here again if I am by myself.

The hotel is perfectly located and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Its just unfortunate that the walls are paper thin and you can be unlucky and hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms

Room was European size with large window, comfortable bed and a working desk & chair. Breakfast was nutritious and plentiful with a good variety of foods. Staff every day was helpful and met several requests promptly and amiably. Location is close to Leidesplein's tram and bus stops. Wed likely stay here on our next visit to Amsterdam.

This was a fantastic base for exploring Amsterdam. Tucked away in a pretty quiet street near the park, the hotel is basic but had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was perfect with lovely fresh bread every morning.

Horrible experience, the room was minuscule , dirty and cold, no proper lighting blankets and towels were old and grey, not white. But the most astonishing drawback was the fact that there was no hating system on operation. I left the hotel after one day and I shall ask Expedia a reimbursement.

Owl Hotel was a very convenient base for our stay in Amsterdam, on a quiet street but a short walk from important bus routes and museums. The hosts at the desk were very friendly and the room was clean. The elevator lift is neat. Recommend having a meal or drink out on the patio, which was pretty and peaceful.
