Pros: The front desk staff were great. I did a late check-in and the young man was extremely polite, efficient, and personable. The daytime young lady was equally helpful. My AC worked beautifully! I read bad reviews about their AC, so I was so thankful mine worked well and as expected. The shower was pressure was excellent as well as the temperature. It was the hottest shower (perfect for me) I’ve ever taken at a hotel! The room was free of bugs. I checked for bedbugs and roaches and saw neither, nor did I see any indication of them. The bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I’ve slept on. It was close to Disneyland which is why I was there.
Cons: very dated hotel. While my room, towels, bed sheets and pillowcases were definitely cleaned, the cleanliness of other things were a little less then. For example, the little coffee table in the lobby had the same little food crumbs and greasy food stains on it from the day I checked in to the day I checked out. My room had a horrible smell of what I thought was urine and stale cigarette smoke. My toilet didn’t flush very well and had to do some wiggling of the inside parts at times to get it to work properly. Apparently there’s not a lot of insulation in the flooring, as I heard the person in the room above me quite easily and loudly. It sounded like they were stomping around, but I’m sure it’s just the lack of insulation between floors and ceilings. (Hallways were quiet, and I couldn’t hear anything between the rooms
