Front desk and breakfast room staff were very polite and helpful. We had booked a king suite for 5 nights and checked in at 10pm to find that we were assigned room 417 that overlooked the roof covering the hotel entrance. The room was very hot and the air conditioner was noisy. We asked to move but the hotel was full. I asked why we were assigned a room that was obviously less desirable especially when we were there for 5 nights and was told the rooms were assigned based on time of checkin. We were offered a different room the next morning but it was at the back where early morning delivery trucks are an issue. Of the 5 nights, our room was missed for cleaning 2 days and we had to find housekeeping staff and ask them to do it. The breakfast was ok but no variety. They did offer yogurt but it was served family style from a large bowl and with many people in the breakfast room sneezing and coughing, we didn't take any. Individual yogurt containers would be much more preferable. We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past but it has gone downhill and sadly, we won't be back.
