First time trying this property in Banff and was pleasantly surprised as it was nicely renovated. Of course you can feel the Vapor when you enter the floors due to the hot tub or pool. But that wasn’t a big deal. The great aspect was the beds were firm like I like it. The room had glassware style crystal which felt like a nice touch over paper cups. The shower was great, amenities were good, the room was clean. Ample amount of pillows. Single seat sofa to place items on for the next day. I usually like to stay at the peaks but this place has made it worthwhile for me to change to stay here in future, will visit again soon.

During checkin the stuff was rude to me while she apologized for the other customers and even gave them water bottle she was extremely cold towards me. There was a spiderweb in the room and the carpet was not clean, we found lots of dirt in the swimming pool and we decided not to use it.

Renovation noise

I wonder if the hotel communicated the ongoing reconstruction to Hotels.com. The noise is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! Plus the vibration! Who does that with guests in it??? I would have expected a 75% price reduction if they were going to have guest around during the reconstruction. PLEASE ENQUIRER TO FIND OUT IF THE RENOVATION IS FINISHED BEFORE YOU BOOK!!!

Loud construction going on during our stay to the point we had to check out early. I had even spoken to someone over the phone prior regarding what I read on Expedia about parking being limited due to construction. I was told it should only affect a few spaces and they would ensure I had parking. Nobody said anything about jackhammering happening between 1030am and 430pm.

Construction from 10:30am-4pm. Extremely loud jackhammering and my baby was unable to have his nap. He was scared of the noise and shaking of our room. We were not informed of this until it was check in and it was too late to change our hotel.
