Slightly dated hotel right by the Fremantle waterfront. Close to shopping and a lot of restaurant and it's easy to walk to the Rottnest Island ferries.

Location location location
The room and bathroom were very large, clean and well appointed. The bed was big and comfortable. There was a really big balcony but the view of a tin roof and other balconies was not so appealing. They offered a great incentive to reduce environmental impact on cleaning which we were happy to take up for one night. Great location, walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants and the freo markets as well as the boat harbour and the park across the road. The staff and reception were very helpful and friendly and staff in the bar were also very friendly. We ate there on the first night and the food was really good. We found it good value for money, we parked the car and did not need it again until we checked out after 2 lovely nights. The outside noise was a bit loud from local bars on Friday and Saturday nights but it didn’t seem to go too late so didn’t bother us. It’s a very large hotel so some of the rooms seem to be quite a distance from the lifts and front entrance but really only an issue if you have difficulty walking a bit further. Would stay again if we are ever back in Freo.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms where we stayed were old. They were somewhat cleaned. The bathroom under the sink was quite dusty. There wasn't enough toilet paper. I had to call to get more toilet paper. The buffet breakfast was ok, however, they had boiled eggs but when you had the boiled egg, it was hard boiled egg. The breakfast staff in particular the female, was eager to take your plates away when you have not fully finished. Overall it was ok.

Nice hotel in a good location within walking distance of everything in Fremantle. The only negative was room was always too hot and you couldn’t adjust temperature and had no opening windows to let outside air in.
