I chose this hotel because I drive an EV, and they're a partner hotel of Banff Park Lodge, that has an EV charger in their parkade. They allow you to use BPL's basement parking. And it's less expensive than BPL

Booked a river view room for 3 nights but instead got a room with a view of a corner brick wall. Mentioned it to staff and was told couldn’t move today but a room was free tomorrow and would pass it onto supervisor and move us then. When we returned the next day we were told that room was now taken and nothing we can do sorry here have a complimentary breakfast voucher, which was nice but still very disappointed that we specifically booked this hotel for a river view and paid $$ extra and didn’t get what we paid for. Would have booked a different hotel if we had known.

Excellent position for the town and the Bow River Trail. The hotel had no restaurant but had arrangements with the hotel next door, for clients to have breakfast. Communal microwaves were available in public area. The rooms had reasonable facilities and the staff were pleasant.

Lovely stay but very dated
We had a lovely stay at the Bow View Lodge, the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the rooms are in desperate need of a refurb as the rooms are very very dated and tired looking. For how much they charge for a room, you would expect to not see water marks on the ceiling and toilet roll holder just hanging on!

We stayed for five nights. There was a problem with no heat in our room. The desk gave us a portable heater to use. The shower in our room was great. Coffee in the room worked well. May we suggest a coffee station in the lobby as well?

We loved our stay at this hotel, perfectly situated on the Bow River in Banff! We had a beautiful river view. All reception staff were lovely and very competent. Some even made activity recommendations. Everything was within walkable distance. While the room was warm on a hot day, a fan cooled us down quickly.

Great location. The staff was exceptional, so polite and took time to share information for everything from outings to food to directions. Only problem was the heater turning on late at night. It was too late when we went to bed to call maintenance because we didn't want to wake up the entire family in the family room, so we opened the windows and then the train woke us up during sleeping hours.
