Situated at 4,500 above sea level, this unit has panoramic mountain views and a balcony view of Sugar Mountain Resort. With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, dining area and living room with a queen sofa bed, this unit is perfect for your family. The master bedroom has a spacious size king bed & cable tv while the guest room has two twin beds. Free Wi Fi, cable television, and so much more! There is seating for 4 in the dining area with additional seating at the bar. The clubhouse is open to our guests and has an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, & fitness room. Dump!!
Place was nasty! Smelled!! Fridge leaking water on floor. Toilet loose and floor rotten! I could go on! Will never rent this place again!!

Location is everything
Yes, this place is very dated and in need of repair. But dated is not the same as dirty. It was very clean and well stocked with towels. We never intended to use the kitchen, so it didn't matter that it was tiny and the appliances were old. We were there to ski, and you cannot get a better location than directly on the slopes. We had beginners, so the first day we drove down to the base (very quick drive). But once they were ready for intermediate slopes, we were able to walk out the door and start skiing. It was wonderful to have the flexibility to return to the room for water, snacks, bathroom breaks, etc. and then get back to the slopes right away. The place felt safe and had a great view from the balcony. Highly recommend renting ski gear from Highland House. Family owned and super efficient. Much better than waiting at the resort.
