Riverfront Cabin nestled between the Poconos/Catskills, Pet/Family Friendly

Nestled in the woods along the Delaware River, this cozy cabin features both the quiet seclusion of the woods and the recreation of the Delaware River. Home to skiers, hikers, kayakers, mountain bikers, fly fishers, hunters and naturalists, the cabin is perfect for the family who loves nature or the writer/artist looking for retreat. This charming cabin is surrounded with woods and streams providing privacy and over 300 ft. of river frontage. Beautiful paths and foot bridges lead from the house to the river. The deck overlooking the river provides great views of the bald eagles nesting directly across the river. It is in perfect condition with a wood burning fireplace, finished basement with a wood burning stove and a porch looking out to the river. The cabin is on the PA side, 2 miles south of the charming town of Narrowsburg, NY. A haven to experience, this cabin on the Delaware River guarantees a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere during every season of the year.

Surrounding Area: Many of our visitors have told us they enjoy simply staying at the cabin, reading, birdwatching and exploring the river and forest. But if you want to venture farther out, two miles north of the cabin lies the quaint town of Narrowsburg, NY. Browse the local art and antique galleries. Experience the Tusten Theatre. Relive history with a visit to Fort Delaware. Or take a drive along the beautiful winding roads which parallel the river. Down stream is the historic Zane Grey House. 30 minutes to Honesdale to stroll the streets or ride the Stourbridge Rail, a steam engine journey to the wild west.

Ski Area: 20 minute drive to the slopes of Big Bear.

There are great cross-country ski trails in Promise Land State Park, 30 minutes from the cabin.

The River: This area of the river boasts of some of the most exciting and varied water on the Delaware River. North of the cabin runs Skinners Falls, a challenging section of rapids. Then the water flows into Narrowsburg over the deepest water in the river. On the stretch of river between Narrowsburg and the cabin, there are rocks and cliffs from which to jump into the river. Further down the river are more rapids and eventually the highest and fastest water on the Delaware. Canoes and kayaks are available at the house and more to rent from local outfitters.
Make yourself comfortable in this cabin, which features a fireplace. There's a private balcony or patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as barbecue grills.
Guests will find features like internet access and onsite parking.

Great little cottage.
The cabin was a great getaway. I love that they supplied fire wood for the fireplace. It's definitely off the beaten path with a great view. We would definitely stay there again.

Weekend getaway
We really enjoyed our time at residence for our getaway weekend to unplug from busy lives. Our stay was wonderful. It delivered what it advertised. We were grateful for opportunity to stay there. If there was one thing we would change it would be trash policy. It was challenging to dispose of our trash being from out of town. We managed. We would definitely stay there again in future if able. Thank You for having us.

The Perfect Spot to Unwind and Enjoy Nature
I recently had the opportunity to stay at this cabin in Beach Lake with my cousins, and the experience was amazing. The location is perfect if you’re looking to get away from the noise of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful scenery with easy access to the lake, which allowed us to enjoy outdoor activities like fishing and hiking in the area. The interior of the cabin was cozy and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the common areas, such as the living room and kitchen, were clean and well-organized, making our stay very pleasant. Plus, the views from the deck were stunning, a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. One thing we really appreciated was the privacy and the laid-back atmosphere. The host was very attentive and provided us with all the information we needed before our arrival, which made the whole process easy. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with friends or family. We’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

We really liked the house and outdoor space, especially the patio overlooking the river. The biggest drawback, and for me it is a big one, is that bed sheets are not provided. Since we were driving and had room in the car it wasn't a disaster, but hauling 4 beds' worth of sheets fills a duffel bag, and I did not enjoy having to make those beds after a 7 hour drive. I wouldn't mind stripping the beds at the end but for the cost of the accommodations and how little a house full of sheets would cost ($150-200 on the high side), it soured me somewhat on the experience. Lovely property though and the hosts were attentive and accommodating.

Rustic rafting trip
Was here for a rafting trip. Very rustic cabin in the woods. If you need bathroom on the same floor as bedroom this will not work. Once upstairs at the end of the steps you will find bunk beds out in the open and then to the right and left a bedroom with doors on each side.the second bathroom is in the basement ….outside is Tranquil peaceful on the porch enjoyed watching the humming birds everyday. A bit of a slope to get down to the deck but once they’re enjoyed the water view. Very nice wilderness property.i did need to reach out to the host and when i did she returned my call very soon after and was happy to assist.

Peaceful
We all enjoyed the peacefulness of the property- it was clean an very personable with nice decorations - The back roads to the property was a bit narrow in places. Our only complaints would be the walk down to the river was not the greatest could use some work to make it a bit safer to get there & back, also a bathroom upstairs with the bedrooms would have been nice. Otherwise we had no issues and had an enjoyable time.

Can't wait to go back!
What a wonderful stay at the Knoll!! The cabin was perfect and had every amenity I could need. The property is so much fun to explore and my dogs had an absolute blast. The observation deck is a dream to sit and watch the river and rafters go by. Highly recommended to pack water shoes for getting down to the river. The porch at the cabin was the ideal spot to watch for birds and I spotted at least 25 hummingbirds and the woods were filled with chirps all around. The bedrooms were comfortable. We will certainly be going back.

Great secluded cabin for family
We really enjoyed the place. Liz was a great responsive host. The cabin was clean and the location in the woods on the river was great! Saw plenty of wildlife and enjoyed splashing in the river and using the kayak. No cell signal, so be sure to take screenshots of instructions and directions before getting there.

I have never met such a bad host. They didn't tell us the WiFi password, nor did we have any means of contact to ask the hosts. We found the house frozen and the walls full of spider webs. Old and dirty bed linen. I do not recommend this house to anyone

Price/Value
We enjoyed our stay; however, host knit picked us for 25.00 to stack more wood in fire ring from yard 35 feet away. Worn furnishings, lampshades, dust and debris under beds and sofas. Broken baseboard in basement, dirty seat cushions in dining room; no hot tub as advertised.

Anniversary trip
We were so pleasantly surprised with this property. It was everything that it was pictured to be. Nestled in the woods close to the river off the beaten track. There is plenty of space and the kitchen is well appointed. We love walking through the woods down to the river, and it was quite lovely to have firewood at our disposal. We would love to rent this property again.

Quiet Cabin in the wood.
It was a quiet cabin in the woods. A little off the beaten path but if your looking for a quiet get away this is the place. There are a couple of good restaurants in the area. Cabin was very clean and well equipped. No TV but the Wi-Fi was very good to watch your shows on a laptop or tablet. Had a very restful week.

Blissful Retreat
What a wonderful place! My partner & I loved the Knoll! The house was cozy, and the porch was perfect to watch hummingbirds. We also saw three eagles from the deck on the river. The nearby town of Narrowsburg is quaint, and we enjoyed everything about our stay. I would love to see it in the fall too. We'll be back!
