Location and the hotel is beautiful but needs major renovations in rooms. Food is pretty good and service is excellent. They overworked their employees, not enough staff at location. Property is beautiful with beach is amazing. They just need ASAP renovations in rooms. Rooms conditions are pretty bad, it’s not 5 star or even 4 stars. Room conditions are motel style. Since the beach was amazing and we were at the beach all day. It was worth it for me and hubby.
Prose: nice and clean pools
Cons: obsolete and dirty hotel, wrong description about rooms especially those that are not located in the main building, extremely tip motivated staff, obsolete and dirty room and amenities
Worst hotel I've been to. We were initially given a very dirty room. it took us
a few hours to find a room that would be in a decent condition. The lobby is finished cheaply - pictures of the ancient figures on the walls in wallpaper that is falling off. the restaurant lacks cups, utensils that should be replenished regularly. the tables in the restaurant was very underserved. Most of the staff are not interested in any help. Usually all inclusive hotels have fresher juices- apparently not this one. The rooms were poorly cleaned, and dirty dishes were left outside the rooms for hours. The view was amazing and memorable. I would like to thank few workers who made this trip enjoyable: Arda, Hakan, and Anahanim. Out of all of the workers there, very little actually had the motivation to help out the residents.
We had a lovely stay at Yasmin Bodrum Resort! The beach is great, 2 pools to swim in, and the spa is amazing with a very professional staff. Every staff member is nice and accommodating to any of our needs we had.
Just completed a 7 night stay at Yasmin… got off to a very rough start with a very poor room assignment as we arrived later in the evening and the resort was very busy due to Turkish holiday…the hotel worked with us that evening to locate to a better room… After a couple nights got moved to a room more akin to 5 star quality.
The property itself and the facilities are spectacular!
A special thanks to Kamel the front desk manager and the Entertainment team led by Islay!
Staff is very friendly and attentive
Fabulous stay in Bodrum!!!

Not a 5 star hotel
Check in is a nightmare. Getting to and from the room takes 15 mintues to arrange a buggie car after several attempts. Plus side, close to beach and the food on offer. However, not 5 stars.

nice hotel
Good experience, can't fault the staff and facilities, just needs a little update and tlc which is being done this winter so will return next year.
Mainly Turkish and middle eastern people holiday here which speaks volumes for the hotel
Loverly people ,
And very friendly to speak to and all love baby's.
Was overwhelmed by the interest in the 1 year old we have . Every 5 minutes she had so many fans.
Will return for a second holiday
The hotel is in a beautiful area with great views and that's the only good thing about this place. There were a lot of issues with the rooms. Between my sister's family and ours we rented 4 rooms. One of the rooms we were assigned smelled so badly that we couldn't use it and had to cram into the other three rooms for three days till we were assigned a usable room. The air conditioning in two of the rooms kept breaking down and they finally fixed them. They have two elevators which both broke the 2nd day we were there and they fixed one of them after 24 hours while the second one stayed broken for three days.
The water temperature in the showers were non-constant and it was either too hot or too cold. Most of the food either had no taste or was too salty. A lot of the dishes were dirty. The water slide area had a lot of loose steps and needed repair.

Disliked: Staff & service
Service is TERRIBLE other than that all is fine.
The Resort and the Beach is very nice but the service the TERRIBLE.
we really enjoyed our time in yasmin resort. lots of wonderful programs during a day and night. very clean swimming pools. we also enjoyed swimming activities and pool games which runs by hotel staff.
The room that we were allocated on arrival was near the main reception and restaurant, which was good. The room, in my opinion consisted of basic accommodation and did not live up to "5*" standard which was advertised. The room did have air conditioning which made our stay more pleasurable. The food was very good and they did provided a varied menu, which we enjoyed. However the majority of staff were very unhelpful and it seemed to be a "chore" for them when asking for advice or assistance. The resort location was good from the point of view that it was right on the beach and they had a choice of pools for places to sunbathe. However, it was very isolated and there were no shops, bars etc to visit nearby. There was a shuttle bus available at a cost if you wanted to venture out further. The hotel, as a whole was nice enough, but was beginning to look "tired". There were several restaurants and pool bars that were closed for the duration of the holiday. The hotel entertainment was almost non-existent and on a few occasions in the week was totally absent! The most disappointing event of the holiday was when the hotel reception/bar area was transformed into stalls for an exhibition/conference and was invaded by people in business suits, leaving us feeling very uncomfortable in our beach wear! MORTIFIED!

Paradise in Paloma
Hotel is situated in a beautiful little cove, looking out to the Aegean towards a couple of greek islands. The food was excellent, though the 'all inclusive' menu's meant that quite a few of the guests were XXXL sizes and there to indulge. The weather was briliant and the staff very friendly. Evenings entertainment was pretty good, particularly when they had live music.
As it is a little away from the action of Bodrum, it does pay to hire a car and then venture out south along the coastal road to Bodrum. Some magestic little coves and towns.
A bit far from the airport (1 hour) and no internet in the rooms (lobby only) but senic views, good food and drink (included) and a very nice clean pool made for a very pleasant stay.
its very nice hotel , comfortable and very enjyoble ,
its has amazing location and very good managment , they are really make us very happy
with our staying in thier hotel.
This hotel is a good hour away from the airport. A few family members got car sick on way back to airport on shuttle. We took taxi from airport to hotel so that was better. The hotel is in a gorgeous spot. It has two large outdoor pool but all the lounge chairs were taken at all times, Fully booked when we were there so brought down the quality of service. Some of the staff were super friendly but others not so much. Reception personal were rude at times. Food quality very average with buffet food being recycled to the next meal. Poor service at buffet restaurant. Our room smelled like smoke although was supposed to be on non-smoking floor. Sink would not drain. Baby crib they provided had rusted, was broken and had fungus on the canvas. Had to call five times and finally go to reception to get them to bring another bed which we didn't get until 10pm! Elevator from lobby to level of main building was not working. Overall would not go back nor recommend it to a friend.

Mixed review. We enjoyed but there were issues.
Overall, we had a good time at the Paloma Yasmin in spite of many things that could and should be improved upon. I would consider returning if I vacationed in this area again.
Favorable comments:
-The views from the hotel out over the water.
-The outdoor pools.
-Cayda, who works at the main desk and who helped us get our lost luggage back from the airline as well as to change rooms to move into the main building.
-The buffet restaurant. The food is good and there is a wide variety of dishes available.
Unfavorable comments:
-The rooms on the hill (called "Myndos" are a long hike uphill to walk to. The rooms at the top are 160 steps (I counted them) up. While there is a shuttle service available, there is often a long wait. Avoid these rooms (we moved to the main building after the first night.)
-There was mold growing along the edges in the bathtub. This was true for both rooms we were in. (To their credit, I did notice a maintenance person recaulking around the bathtub in another room so maybe they are addressing this issue.)
-The Fish specialty restaurant was horrible. The food was awful, there was a smell of sewage and the waiter service was poor. Avoid this restaurant and instead stick to the buffet. (After this experience, we decided not to try the other specialty restaurants.)
-The entertainment was not very good. There weren't any shows at night. Just some musical entertainment out near the pool. Not enough activities at the pool during the day. Also, the hotel staff was not at all familiar with the entertainment schedule.
-The area around the lower pool is very slippery when wet. Be very careful.
-Wifi is only available in the main lobby seating area. It is not available in the rooms or out at the pool. Very inconvenient.
-There is no ATM cash machine at the hotel. You have to go into town to get cash.
-We felt that the hotel was understaffed. This includes the front desk and the shuttle service.
-I was unable to arrange in advance for airport pickup by the hotel shuttle service. I tried to contact the hotel via the website but received no response. When I called (this happened twice) I was told that no one on duty at that time spoke English and that I should call back later. In the end, we had to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel.
It was a good hotel with great shows and good food and drinks and entertainment programs and daily sports activities, but very far from the city and airport.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel (in July2010) but we found it to be a very family+kids hotel. We do have a baby ourselves, but had to decided to travel overseas for a couple's holiday on our own (without our baby). We were disappointed to find the hotel was really overrun with toddlers and kids (which isn't what we expected). I think its a great hotel to take your kids to - but if you are travelling as a couple or single person then I dont think this is an appropriate hotel.
We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the food offered in the restaurants (given that its an all inclusive hotel). The only issue about the hotel is the complicated process for booking restaurants (you have to the day before - and you can only make bookings up until 3pm that day / you cant book at the same restaurant twice etc.)
The hotel is located on a beautiful part of the Bodrum peninsula - and the beaches are pristine. The hotel has a lovely deck that juts out into the ocean with deck chairs that you can lie on and enjoy the sea view.
The issue we had with the hotel's location is its inaccessibility to Bodrum centre. The hotel does offer a transfer bus service (at a cost) - but this bus doesn't operate regularly so one is fairly limited to the times you can go in to Bodrum (e.g. 5pm) and only get collected after 11pm (not earlier)
If you catch your own taxi into Bodrum the fare is a lot more costly. So you are pretty much confined to the hotel.
When taking a day trip out to Ephesus - consider that you actually drive back past the airport (about an hour from Paloma Yasmin) and then another 1.5hours to Ephesus from the airport (we flew out that afternoon to Istanbul).
We ended up hiring a car from Paloma Yasmin and driving to Ephesus for the day and then back to the airport (so as to cut out the lengthy bus return trip) - although it is more expensive than taking a package bus tour trip.
