The equipment was good, and I was happy that I had a room with bathtub (which was my special request). The room and bathroom area was clean in general, but it's a pity that the bed linen was not so clean- it was with some brown stain and had some smell... otherwise, it should be a comfortable stay.

I didn t like the carpet that was old and with some stains on it. Some furnishers in the room were dusty. But the staff is welcoming and offers good information. The breakfast is also nice. I also liked the fact that the hotel is in the middle of downtown city. Most of the facilities are just minutes away by walk.

Fantastic location! Right in the middle of the city. Less than a block from the main train station and main university building. Bonn Munster and Munster Platz are only two blocks away. Pool and sauna available. Hospitable staff. Most spoke English, German, French and some other languages, so it is great for international travelers. Breakfast is a bit pricey, but very much worth it!

This is a very pretty old fashioned hotel, it could be so much more with just a few touches. It is perfectly located for the tram & train and the main town which is equally pretty. The Sauna and small pool adequate for the size, lovely entrance and reception, with beautiful chandelier over the main stair way to the lower floor and winter garden. Hairdressers in foyer. Some decor is a little dated but spotlessly clean - the sheets were pristine felt like good quality Egyptian cotton - unfortunately the sink was very cracked & chipped in the bathroom - nail polish on the bath - we asked if we could have a kettle (avid tea drinker which is not beloved of German culture) but told 'no' which are available in other rooms - everything else from sewing kit to tissues and wine glasses catered for in the room with a nice little fridge - so a kettle would have been a lovely addition to making this excellent even with dated decor. I would deffinately go back and stay there again if visiting - reception staff as leaving were excellent and couldnt do enough for us on our last day - so thank you.

Surprisingly quiet (great sound insulation) given the fact that this is close to the central bus station and to the central train station.

The hotel needs to be renovated
This hotel requires serious renovation. Much of the décor was at least 20 years ago. There were flies in the room because the windows were kept open and flies came in from a nearby garden. The pool was nice though.
