Overnight stay for family party.
The hotel itself was very inviting & all the staff seemed very happy in their work. We received a friendly welcome on arrival. The room was large well decorated & very clean. We would normally have a kingsize bed, but a double was fine & it was quite comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, We arrived at 9am & no hash browns available and the bacon was so hard it was inedible also no mushrooms, I decided to have beans on toast...however we would probably stay again!

Holiday inn Braintree
First of all we got into a room with a bath, but being disabled. One can not get into a bath. But they did more us very quickly a few rooms down. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The cleanliness of the room was very nice, what you could see. But as my husband works for the hospital, you really need to dust in the above places. The pull code in the bathroom was covered in dust and above the bed. It was close to all the shops

The downside is in the accessibility room the bars in the showers are rusting. Which isn't good. Apart from that, fine!

Arrived earlier than 3pm which was checkin and was allowed to checkin and go to the room no problem. We went out to see family and when we came back was very busy and loud in the bar and people outside. Room was lovely and comfortable and everything worked, iron, kettle, shower, tv, wifi. Breakfast was fantastic. Cooked English and cereals, muffins etc. Well worth the money. Will be staying again
