For the price it was NOT value for money. The fact you have to pay an extra £5 to park in the car park in addition to paying for the room I found unacceptable. Luckily I was a blue badge holder but my partner had to pay to park. The bed was extremely hard and no extra pillows.
Check in was smooth, rooms are dated and in dire need of modernisation although it was clean and well equipped but no air conditioning. The bed had a thick mattress protector and a very thick duvet which made the bed far too hot. My room was above a courtyard and people were outside smoking underneath my window until very late being noisy and inconsiderate.
Ate in the restaurant in the evening, waiter who brought our drinks to the table tipped his tray of drinks all over me. Asked at reception if they had a laundry service to which I was abruptly told no, no offer of help despite my clothes being covered in red wine. He gave me an apology and a free bottle of wine but he charged me for a glass, presumably the one he had dropped on me! Even though the restaurant was quite empty the wait for food was ridiculously long.
Met colleagues for breakfast and was running late. They were already seated so I gave the waiter my room number to be rudely told breakfast wasn’t included and I would need to go to reception and pay before I could eat. I informed him that I hadn’t yet checked out but he wouldnt allow me in until I had paid. Had to queue at reception behind guests checking out to pay for breakfast before I could enter the restaurant, leaving very little time to eat. Not worth the additional £11.99. Just as we were getting ready to leave chaos broke out as the fire alarm started to go off. Staff had no idea what they were doing.
Not an experience I will be repeating.

For the price point. It’s good value for money. Facilities are adequate and rooms are clean. Have stayed many times whilst visiting family
Reasonably priced hotel close too the M5, clean some fittings are a bit dated, nothing close by if you didn't want to use the hotel bar/ food service.
Would use again
A clean and tidy hotel, good value for money but not as good as the picture shows ! The tap in the bathroom was leaking but it did not get reported by me.
We were there for such a short time, the cleaner greeted us as she was passing the room as we left. Staff all fine. Not a place we would rush back to but served a purpose for us for one night. No electric charge points for EV’s. Pay extra for parking on site, 5GBP per 24 hours.

I booked an executive room it was definitely not, there were 2 beds, a fridge ( very noisey ) no wifi that sets you back £7 per day if you manage to get on the site to pay the free code they gave me did not work.
They do not service the rooms and look at you gone out when you ask for a bottle of water to replenish the fridge.
That said the food is very reasonable and reasonabally priced plus theres a happy hour between 5-7
The hotel is great but there is an issue with the Hotels.com portal and the booking system of this hotel.
I have been using it for few month already and regardless which room you choose they always receive the booking as if you are booking a twin room rather than the one that you booked.
In some cases they can accommodate but other times they cannot and you end up having to stay in a different room to the one you booked.
Someone should look into it and amend it so they are both in line.

A wonderful midweek break
All the staff were excellent, Luke and Maria on reception and Leanne and Kaylee in house keeping really went the extra mile I’d definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again 👍
Had to wait to be checked in, as rooms not ready, person on tge desk didnt have a clue in what they were doing, could do with some money being spent on the place more staff needed on the bar area
Well maintained hotel. Very close to the M5, junction 4. A little dated outside but well maintained interior. Parking is charged at £5 per night.
Room clean and comfortable.
Pool was good, although confusing. The reception desk is hidden by exercise machines in the gym area. The entry fee is paid here, card only £4 (although website said £5 single or £10 multi-entry per day), the lockers need a coin to lock. Setup for lane swimming and leisure swimming.
The breakfast buffet was good (£12) with a wide range of hot and cold items.
Prefer parking and pool usage to be included, but at £9 for an overnight not excessive.
Was given a room with no working tv so had to switch to another. Hallway and rooms had a funny smell throughout. Not the comfiest of beds, and no one was there to check us out at reception.
